Its pretty bad, I`m waiting freaken google fiber like everyone else in certain states to appear.
Until then I`m stuck with time warner..at 5mbs

I cannot wait for them to break down the doors of comcast. But from my understanding, I emailed google a long while back, a year or so ago. They said they are staying in kansas & colorado or cali or something of them sorts. Even though verizon has FIOS, they are just as bad and over priced as comcast. |

But same question for you ... is there any stable long term server where you can download more than 5mb/s from ? High net speed needed for games, movies, or very big applications. But my experiences are, that every high speed server is paid. So yes I have "high speed" net but It is almost worthless because I download 1 out of 10 files with highest speed |

What I find stupid is. One router e4200 http://support.linksys.com/en-us/support/routers/E4200/ costs $60 $300. This allows me travel through my internal net at 125 MB/s (megabytes per second). So for $60 $300 I get 125MB/s speeds for life. Internet rates is double this in 3-4 months time. So why the fuck cannot we the "ALL" USA have cheap cost fast broadband/FIOS? It rots me. |

 For about $5 Monthly. Cheap ? ehehehe but after 2GB of usage ... it is CRASHING to 64 kbps ! That is painfully slow ! And sucks -_- it is hard to find a cheap unlimited, fast and reliable wireless internet connection in Indonesia |

I used to have 120/40 but just downgraded to 100/40  I have 4g on my mobile and often get 20/10, 30/10 on that. oh and UK. |

10 years ago I used to have 512 Kb/s and it seemed enough. Now I have 30 Mb/s and it's decent don't need more for what I'm doing.

What are you doing on your phone? Downloading movies?? 10gb monthly is a lot ... Downloading a lot of nasty things using his phone. Nobody needs 10gb a month on a phone, with average use. In last 6 month: App Store 2.2Gt Chrome 2.4Gt Safari 14.1Gt Netflix 16.7Gt Other apps ~6Gt And sometimes when I don't have internet for my laptop I use my phones internet and it have taken 22.2Gt in last 6 month. |
