There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Such a piece of crap  Cheesy

Dozens and dozens of coins out there that actually work, don't have a 20% premine, and didn't have to cheat their way onto an exchange. This community is almost as dysfunctional as the wallet! "Mister YellowCoin" contest?  Cheesy Cheesy  Cry

I'm in tears. You can't even make this stuff up! Comedy gold!

I had to limit the upload usage of the yellowcoin wallet with a router just so I can use the internet and keep the wallet open all the time.

I thought it was a mistake in upgrading the wallet. At first I just replaced the old wallet software with the new. That's where the problem started. I even followed the procedure they did in whitecoin. I deleted all files in C:\Users\user1\AppData\Roaming\YellowCoin except the wallet.dat and then run the new yellowcoin wallet and resynced. Still the same problem. I saw the debug.log and here's what I saw.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? I worry the POS period might end with us not getting any additional coins. Thanks.

Did you ever figure this out? I am having a problem with my wallet not showing a recent deposit. I sent 20,000 YC to my local wallet from my trading account, the transaction appears on the blockchain, but is not appearing in my wallet. I've deleted everything except wallet.dat and run a new copy of the .exe, and still am not seeing the transaction. Anyone have any ideas?

Please upgrade to version 1.0.0.1 and use command repairwallet on RPC console.

Ok I did this.

By the way, here is the blockchain info for the missing transaction -

I sent you a PM. If you can help figure this out I'd be very happy!

Someone speak chinese?

We need to try to get Yellowcoin listed on btc38.com when you look how good BIL is doing over there with high volume then i believe it will be a big win. How do we call chinese people in Europe? They are a little yellow, no? So Yellowcoin = China = Why not?

Anyone from the community that can take this as a action point?

2 days since changing to 1.0.0.1 and all i get are unconfirmed coins. And if you notice, prior to that I'm only getting less than 1% of my coins. I got around 600+. :/

This is also exactly my problem. My wallet has been open straight for more than 24 hours now and using all of my upload bandwidth. There are confirmations for small coins but only for decimal valued coins of less than one (0.0537, 0.0246, etc.). For whole coins 45, 78, etc., all are unconfirmed. There are a lot of such unconfirmed coins being received by my wallet for the past 3 days already.

Will these coins still be confirmed? Is there something wrong?

I posted a few pages back about how to check whether your wallet is staking properly, sounds like yours is as you are getting blocks generated. If you look at the blockexplorer for YC you will see that currently the average coin age for PoS blocks is 2.6 days, so the network is catching up a bit but still isnt managing to do everyone's 1 day PoS.

Have you received your coins to a lot of different addresses in your wallet? Although it shows your total coins the PoS treats each address's coins separately. You can combine them all into one address but that will reset their stake age so you want to try and do it soon after receiving your PoS interest on each address, difficult when you arent getting it to start with I know Sad

with the received coins I got no address at all just like with the unconfirmed ones :/

No, the coins you mined/bought - did you receive a lot in one go to one address, or lots of small amounts to lots of different addresses?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but the coins where in my mining pool account and withdraw it after the mining ended.
