Well this sucks, I can't unencrypt the wallet. Eh well, I'll just make the passphrase "GOOD"

Yes. I tested out this:

Most people go to help => debug window => console tab - then type walletpassphrase "passwordthatnobodyknowsexceptseefudebecauseyoutellhimeverything" 999999999999999 true

This unlocks your wallet for staking but keeps it encrypted still. Not sure if windows wallet will crash it though, someone wanna test it?

What about the POS, do the wallet need to be open and unlocked the whole time? I could not find any info about it in the ANN, and do not remember that I have read about it in the thread but I might have missed it.

For the PoS to work like with any other PoS enabled coins, the wallet does need to be opened and unlocked using whichever method you desire to use.

Ok, thanks.

All you have to do is go to the settings tab and click "unlock wallet". Does the same thing.

The only human-mineable coin is Huntercoin... distribution of pre-mined coins does not amount to human mining.

Works Great, especially when you can unlock the wallet for staking only!
GOOD job!
And there is also a total Balance! (it includes stake and unconfirmed?)

I don't see an option to unlock for staking only (mmm steak), mind you I use Linux.  Just did a git pull and yup, still no stake..
