i am sad that borders or even worse conflicts and war split people

that u react sensible to make a difference between russia and russian speaking

tell me we so far away of a united world

i hope in our lifetime we will be able to experience the end of boarders

crypto is one step in that direction

Over 10,000. I have over 10k, and dont  stake 44 DMD per day. Ive got close a couple of times. I think 20,000 dmd would do it.

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

To earn 44 coins per day by POS mining you should keep in your wallet at least 40k DMD  Wink
I think that this can afford very few.

Hi sigwo,
1000 DMD stakes ~10 per week. 44 per day is 308 per week. 308/~10=~30.8
So you need ~30.8x1000=~30800 to stake 44 per day.

No particular reason, it just comes to ~$10 a day in revenue.

Youll be proud of me cryptonit, I chose your coin to model after. 7 days min stake, and 50% pos. I thought this was a perfect balance, as dmd has done so well with a great dev, and a great model of a coin.

Maybe in the next version of wallet developers will make 7 days as well as planned?

Is there any requirement for how long you leave the wallet online after it sync's up before you stake?
Im asking because it's been over 60 days with no staking and I accidentally left my laptop on overnight and found it did stake finally.
I had previously only been syncing the block-chain every few days thinking that the stake would just show-up when the coins hit the correct age in the block-chain, but it appears it's somehow related to leaving the wallet open for an extended period of time.
If I have to leave it open for the coins to actually stake, the I need to move it to a different machine, as I don't leave my laptop on very much at all, except when I forget to shut it off like last night.
If I have to move the wallet, do I just copy the entire block-chain to a new box? The wallet program itself is pretty small, but the block-chain is pretty large and it would be easier to copy it to my work desktop (which is always on).
I just want to move the block-chain to the new box so I don't loose my coins in the process.
What's the best way to do this?

There is no requirement, normally you have to leave it open for 3-4 hours (unlocked), but this depends a lot on the size of your piles.
When it did stake, the "dust" merged and staked in a bigger pile?

Regarding moving the wallet, I would save the dat file in a normal way: click on the Tab File -> Backup Wallet. Now you have a dat file that you can import into the new wallet. Then let it sync, or use the blockchain from the 1st page of this thread.
I wouldn't bother with the block-chain copied from one wallet to another, it might not work and then at the end of the day you will have to sync again...

Looks like a bit of accumulation is happening, probably good to get some dmd if your on the sidelines because when it gets back to the high we will all look back at this time hoping that we would have bought at these levels.  A 50% discount is a good buy.  I try to accumulate as much as I can afford.

That must have been my problem, as I normally left it open only long enough to sync the block-chain. I guess im not understanding staking, as I thought that it was a fixed % amount based on the age of the coin. Wouldn't the staking have just showed up in the block-chain even if the wallet was offline, and all I had to do was catch-up the block chain?
All my deposits were from mining, and were 1DMD or slightly larger since I couldn't withdraw smaller amounts.
Yes, it appears everything went into 1 pile, although im not exactly sure how to determine the coin age, I think it reset all the ages, as it currently sais nothing is mature, where as before it just kept saying # of days to stake...
While im here, is there a website which shows the various pools and the proportion (or %) of the overall hashrate? Im on the lookout for alternative pools, since both the ones im using have a small percentage of the overall network hashrate.
