Never trusted crypsty , somethings not right... How closely tied to crypsty is diamond? Reason for asking is this fantastic thread outing a massive scam. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.43260Its a crazy/long read but well worth it. A few good people have compiled evidence of outright?? scummary?? Hoping diamond not involved. Cryptsy are not looking good...

DMD always had good experiences with cryptsy sometimes they did act slow but they did act what this pinkie31 guy reffers to u this article of coinfire http://coinfire.io/2015/10/04/federal-investigations-of-cryptsy-underway/and here is the official responce from cryptsy http://blog.cryptsy.com/post/130547612142/re-coinfireDMD Diamond have no relation to cryptsy beside being listed and traded there so we see this relaxed if things go wrong we still have bittrex if u want to act very carefull i would not have more than a few hundred DMD on cryptsy for now DMD coins wish to be placed at local wallets and staked or at staicybit and staked in a web wallet but for sure not on exchanges and wasting POS income

Is there any requirement for how long you leave the wallet online after it sync's up before you stake? Im asking because it's been over 60 days with no staking and I accidentally left my laptop on overnight and found it did stake finally. I had previously only been syncing the block-chain every few days thinking that the stake would just show-up when the coins hit the correct age in the block-chain, but it appears it's somehow related to leaving the wallet open for an extended period of time. If I have to leave it open for the coins to actually stake, the I need to move it to a different machine, as I don't leave my laptop on very much at all, except when I forget to shut it off like last night. If I have to move the wallet, do I just copy the entire block-chain to a new box? The wallet program itself is pretty small, but the block-chain is pretty large and it would be easier to copy it to my work desktop (which is always on). I just want to move the block-chain to the new box so I don't loose my coins in the process. What's the best way to do this?
There is no requirement, normally you have to leave it open for 3-4 hours (unlocked), but this depends a lot on the size of your piles. When it did stake, the "dust" merged and staked in a bigger pile? Regarding moving the wallet, I would save the dat file in a normal way: click on the Tab File -> Backup Wallet. Now you have a dat file that you can import into the new wallet. Then let it sync, or use the blockchain from the 1st page of this thread. I wouldn't bother with the block-chain copied from one wallet to another, it might not work and then at the end of the day you will have to sync again... That must have been my problem, as I normally left it open only long enough to sync the block-chain. I guess im not understanding staking, as I thought that it was a fixed % amount based on the age of the coin. Wouldn't the staking have just showed up in the block-chain even if the wallet was offline, and all I had to do was catch-up the block chain?
All my deposits were from mining, and were 1DMD or slightly larger since I couldn't withdraw smaller amounts. Yes, it appears everything went into 1 pile, although im not exactly sure how to determine the coin age, I think it reset all the ages, as it currently sais nothing is mature, where as before it just kept saying # of days to stake... While im here, is there a website which shows the various pools and the proportion (or %) of the overall hashrate? Im on the lookout for alternative pools, since both the ones im using have a small percentage of the overall network hashrate. You have to keep your wallet open for minting and it must be synced with the network to have a chance to stake. As I said, the chances to mint depends a lot of coinage and the size of piles, but when it will mint, the reward is based on size of pile that staked and coinage. For example if you have 1000 DMD in wallet and you open it after 30 days, it will mint pretty fast in 2-4 hours with a reward of ~40 DMD. I hope I'm clear enough, if you have more questions you are welcome to ask here:)

Is this true? i mean...wow...if something really terrible happens to Cryptsy, that sure is a lot of volume gone. oh and don't look at "Volume (24h)". that's 24 hours. Would like some verification on this info. so is coinmarketcap right or wrong?

Second, you put your coins under risk. Third, some of these exchanges potentially can stake your own coins and sell the stake. So don't be stupid.

Hey DMD community. A lot of large investors I have been talking to have been using presstab blockexplorer - www.presstab.pw and I would to see DMD added to this one. I think it s an excellent option to show the true power and resilience of DMD Diamond, especially when we compare our market cap to other PoS coins. If I m not mistaken, we ll be at the very top, if not number 1,according to this criteria. Since market cap and liquidity are the most important aspects of PoS crypto, I believe this might convince some of present and future presstab users to consider investing into DMD as well. The cost to add a coin to presstab.pw is $7/mo (with 6 monts prepaid upfront) and a $32 install fee. This brings the total due to $72 so around 0.30 btc at the moment. Would the community be interested in chipping in for this initiative? I ll provide, 0.05 BTC. If yes, pls post on the forum so I can provide the address to have this executed.
