Yesterday Dorian Nakamoto made an official message to the Bitcoin Community.Dorian said, “I want to hug you, this 2,000 of you, who donated. And I’m very happy, each one gives me a tick in my heart. Thank you very much.” Dorian went on to say that he’ll join the bitcoin community and will contribute for “the good of humankind.”

*sigh* if this guy wasn't suspected to be satoshi nakamoto then he's just a typical guy on the internet. Since they've legally proved he's not satoshi nakamoto we should just treat him as a normal person. And on that topic I actually don't want satoshi nakamoto found  Smiley

FTFY.

I'd rather be broke and anonymous, than have a few free BTC and be an enemy of the state.

Remember Aaron Swartz, a 26 year old computer scientist who died defending the free flow of information.

The media frenzy undoubtedly caused him a lot of grief, and now he has to pay for a lawyer. He was a very private person before this, and he already has health issues he has to deal with at his age.

He undoubtedly deserves the Bitcoin he received and I for one applaud Andreas for starting this donations process. And shame on Newsweek for running a blatantly false article just for the publicity

Its actually not that easy to be on camera and just look straight ahead while someone else is talking and not look like you're "looking around" or nervous or whatever.

News people do it all the time but they have a lot of practice.  Andreas did a great job.

P.S.  I love Dorian!  He's super cool  Cool

I donno if Mr. Dorian S. Nakamoto will try to have an account at BitcoinTalk. But if he does, he'll face a problem. Nakamoto is a reserved name and Dorian wont get this name in his user ID. He may go by just Dorian.

I wonder if Newsweek still sticks to their position, that Dorian is the "Satoshi".  Damn you Leah!!   Angry

Well, anything to gain readers/viewers/clicks for their relaunch I guess.

it's just so stupid that newsweek would post this.. if the creator of bitcoin really wanted to be anonymous, he wouldn't use his real name.

They got a lot of hits and publicity and thats what matters to them.
