Yes, the time activity updates is the same for everyone (well maybe a few fractions of a second difference) no matter when you signed up or first logged in. The only difference from what's displayed and your clock at home would be timezones so if you properly convert it it'll be the same.

Q : How is activity calculated ?

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Apparently , the activity changes every 1210000 units of the UNIX timestamp.

This equates to 14 days , 6 minutes , 40 seconds.

This means , after 3026 2 week periods , you would expect to gain 42364 activity.

But no , you would get only 42350 activity.

TLDR; Every 116 years you will lose out on 14 activity. Sad right ?

It can only increase at most 14 for every two week period. So at the next activity period, you will have 28 activity.

No. You need to post at least once in each activity period in order to gain activity.

Which part you don't understand? You need to make at least one post in each period to gain (potential) 14 activity points. If you make more than 14 posts then the activity wont increase more then 14.

For example in your case you have more posts than activity which means if you make more posts in this period the activity won't increase but if you make only one post in next period your activity will increase for 14. Is it clear(er)?
