Wallet went out of sync today, I leave it open and it was fine until today. Plenty of connections, but stuck on block 2236. I've tried redownloading the blockchain and using the included .conf. No dice.

Edit: Downloaded the new wallet, deleted everything but wallet.dat and .conf from my appdata folder, now it syncs fine! Btw the dev is more than willing to help out and is very active in irc.

Can't synch for the life of me here

Can you come in IRC? I will be there for about 30 more minutes, and I can help you. If you can't make it right now, I am sure there will be someone else that can help you.

Problem solved, re-download wallet with added checkpoints (via first post which I didn't read :}) and do a fresh dl of the chain, synched in 1 minute or so.

I have seen it as low as 30TH and as high as 130TH, back and forth several times today.  The swing in hashrate has been tremendous, might be a problem with pools going down?

Could be. CoinArmy has not gone down once though.

It could also be a pool getting DDOS and cause huge upswings like that. :/

Or maybe the big dogs just mine for short period and get a little stack to hang onto.

Or maybe a multipool is testing it to see if it will work.

Really who the fuck knows.

would be pointless for a multipool to mine this, there just is not enough volume for them to dump thier loot.

At this point yes. That is why I say "testing". Cheesy

Eh dont bother me really, i have over 10k now which i will just hold long term like most POS coins need to done. i wish there was a way to shut down multipools for ever. might make many different coins alittle more profitable again.

It seems like several of the pools have had issues staying up.  It's frustrating.

What does "Your weight" and "Network weight" mean?

Its to do with POS.  My understanding of it is your total coin age "Your weight" vs the rest of the network coin age "Network weight"

You could also think of it as your POS "hash" rate vs network POS "hash" rate

http://zim.pitythepool.com (0% first 10 users]
http://zs.cryptopools.com
http://zs.eliteminer.net
http://zs.mineoncloud.com
and explorer.zimstake.us

Are you on the same chain?

We froze ZS deposit/withdraw.

Indeed, there are at least 3 chains running right now.

http://zs.coinarmy.com   -- CHAIN A
http://zim.pitythepool.com  -- CHAIN A
http://zs.cryptopools.com -- CHAIN A
http://zs.eliteminer.net -- CHAIN A
http://zs.mineoncloud.com -- CHAIN B
http://explorer.zimstake.us -- CHAIN C

Mineoncloud is pretty much mining on it's very own own personal fork of the coin right now - if you are mining here, you are definitely wasting your time.  None of your coins are good.

I would normally consider the official block explorer to be the authoritative source for the correct chain, and I think the exchanges do the same, but not sure in this case.  The major pools are all definitely on a separate chain from the block explorer (but maybe the same chain as the exchanges?)

As far as I can tell the fork from the pools and block explorer occurred at block 3535.  All the block hashes found by PityThePool after and including 3535 are not found on explorer.zimstake.us, and I assume this is the case for all the other pools as well.

I am leaving PityThePool offline for now until things get sorted out, I don't want anyone wasting their time mining here if their coins will be no good.

What does that all mean for coins traded at an exchange the last few hours? Are they no good?

Demand looks to have tanked with the lack of response regarding correct block chain. Shame. ZS started so well.
