The Work: Proof of Work:- Algo: SHA-256
- Block reward: 512 ZS
- Max height: 12512 (a little over 8.5 days)
- Total POW Coins: 6.406.144 (6.4 million or so)
Proof of Stake- Stake Interest: 12% annually (FOREVER!!)
- Min stake age: 12 hours, no max age
- Total Coins: 60 - 70 million after 10 years
Apologies if this has already been answered, but can you explain how this will work? Doesn't the PoS element mean that you cannot set a total coin number? As you will (potentially) be creating some millions of coins in stake interest every year "FOREVER"? This is true, we cannot set a total coin number, due to POS. However, what we are placing guesses on is what the total coin supply will be once the POW stage of this coin is over (which is block 12512). Basically we are guessing how many coins there will be at block # 12512. Yes, I understand what the current guessing game is about ... my question was really about the original specifications of the coin, and what the PoS element means to the the total coin number? 12% is quite a high rate of return! And one that I would expect to significantly influence any purchase decisions.

If ZS ends up with under 4 million coins once PoW has finished, it's a very small number when you compare other now pure PoS coins. There is BlackCoin with 75M and just 1%, CinniCoin with 15M at 3.5%. And then the other end of the scale MintCoin with 19B with 20% variable that ends up at 5% after 4 years with a cap of 70B. There are coins which are still PoW/PoS, TEK coin has 40% with a cap of 100M. Or HoboNickels with 2% every 10 days with a cap of 120M and currently has over 3M coins, not sure about TEK. Also a large amount of coins will likely sit on exchanges so won't even be minting coins!

if we only mine 4 million coins during POW..we will only see 480000 coins minted this year..and then 537000 the year after that..bring us up to 5 million coins in two years of minting...and then from there we will get 600000 minted coins on the third year bringing our total up to 5600000 after 3 full years of minting..
and thats if everyone mints the whole time...really not a very fast minting process even though the 12% makes it seem like it is

Zimstake has been added to AllCrypt.com! Heard about this coin through the grapevine and we like what it looks like and it deserves to be on a strong exchange.
Hope to see you all there!

Please PM me if you are willing to sell some of your Zimstakes. Please include the price and the amount you wish to sell. I will only trade on an exchange so neither of us have to worry about getting scammed. All of the exchanges have a really low volume, and I want to buy in ASAP!!!!

I see that ZS got added to AllCoin.com also. Let's hope this sparks some good buying to get the price up.
