so last couple days till we get added on mintpal, can we get some press updates?

coins that get votes to mintpal instead of ninja added have a high possibility to just be dumped.

when i ask "what's happening with this coin", so far the only comments from both the dev and the community are akin to a japanese schoolgirl putter her finger to her lips, going "shhh", then humming tee-hee-hee as she skips off into the sunset.

it's cute, but highly frustrating to all of the people who have already invested in this coin, let alone all the others who will be exposed to this coin on monday.

when i ask what's in store, i get told to be patient like a small child, this is no way to run something which people have put thousands of real dollars in.

but god forbid you bring that point up, and the only responses on here you'll get are: "fine, sell you coins to me, hahaha" meanwhile offering nothing else.

i feel like i'm 12 years old, and the oldest person in the group, my ideas of putting my bitcoins into opening up a candy shop, or a pony store seem incredibly mature and well-rounded than everything i'm hearing from this community and the dev.

I'd like to consider this coin's potential, but everyone here is making that impossible to do, and then i'm made the fool for it.

i know gir has just got back from vacation, but you want to maybe shore up your forces for the mintpal launch?

you guys do realize that both Cloakcoin and XC are both intending to release their decentralized anon solutions also on monday right? so... you're already fighting an uphill battle to even get noticed on the 7th, you'd better start putting in some hours figuring out what exactly is happening here.

20,000+ votes by YOUR community deserve some production value for all of the time that they put in to achieve this feat. squander it at your own peril.

Have you taken a look at our new website? It pretty much sums up what we have planned and what our goals are doesnt it.
The only thing we dont do is pre-announce. But i think it is very clear what we intend to achieve with Zimstake.

new website does look very nice, i remember that youtube video Smiley little tip, always make sure to include the URL when you plug the site, ie. to me 2 posts ago. http://zimstake.us/

"currency for entertainment" this is about the only thing that sets this coin's announcement stats apart from any other cookie-cutter coin. what does this mean? which entertainment, and in what capacity?

is this going to be the currency for me to pay with at the box office to see nicholas cage solve things?

how about when i go to thailand and have ladyboys service me sexually? that's entertainment on my dime.

i'm also entertained by the perky disposition of the people who really are looking out for this coin, yet none of them seem to have a clue what they're looking out for, would this somehow be the currency for that?

anonymity is a gimmick, it's been shown in other coins, normally there is a big build up in the announcement, coin peaks, then when the anon feature is released, coin gets dumped

Anonymity is a gimmick yes, at the very beginning with darkcoin it was new, now a lot coins are advertising with it.

In less than 2 months we will see another "big thing" that crypto coins will advertise with. All are gimmicks. It's there, but you won't use it for more than a few times.

you know what they say: what happens in thai sex dungeons stays in thai sex dungeons.

that being said, none of you have been able to address the point i bring up about THIS coin, and are instead taking apart the one line where i spoke about other coins.

granted, there isn't much to talk about, so it's forgiven. looks like nobody really knows.

and just for the record...

the "holy grail" of crypto anon is and always had been, going back over 2 years now, is a decentralized anon system. so far we have working anon systems, but they're always slave to a master node, they all have at least one point in the chain where you have to put your trust in someone else. the holy grail is a trustless system.

on monday, the same day that this coin is hitting mintpal, there are 2 coins who claim they've finally cracked the code and are releasing functioning trustless anon for their coin.

now, don't get me wrong, it might very well be a lot of hot air, it has been done many times int he past with big promises and no results. But one of those 2 looks like they might have actually done it, i won't say which, i'm not here to advertise. i'm trying to reinforce that there's A LOT of people who are awaiting this grand unveiling, and to dismiss it as "just another PnD anon flavor-of-the-month coin with no development" makes you look ignorant, and out of touch. no offense.

it's happening on the same day that we should be trying to take some of the spotlight, these are real things happening, you can't change them, what are doing doing about it?

<--- top 50 ZS richlist, just for context

CoinPayments.net Community Call to Arms - Voting ends 07/16/14 @ 11:59:59 PM UTC

Want to spend a few of your hard-earned ZS on a good cause and get a chance at a 1,000 Zimstake bounty?

Zimstake is on the CoinPayments.net public vote list, votes only cost .001 BTC or roughly 70 cents and all proceeds go to charity.

1,000 Zimstake bonus to the first person who posts a screenshot of the 30th vote cast.  You don't have to make the 30th vote, just post the screenshot of it first.  Screenshot must be posted in the BCT ANN thread.

THIS IS AN EASILY ACHIEVABLE AND IMPORTANT SHORT TERM GOAL!

Votes cast here https://www.coinpayments.net/vote

Up to date voting count can be viewed here https://www.coinpayments.net/vote-results

If anyone needs BTC to vote I am exchanging .0011 BTC for 5 ZS to the first 40 Zimstakers who contact me via PM.  40/40 remain to be claimed.

Thanks for reading.

-blue

Is this against the voting rules?

No it is not. The rules are:

Code:
1. Starting a vote then having someone else do the donation.
2. Placing a vote then getting a reimbursement or reward of any value (for example: crypto or fiat currency, access to a site that normally requires payment, coupons or discounts, etc.)
3. Using Tor or similar = automatic disqualify (during our last vote we only had 3 valid votes from Tor users)
4. IPs listed in HTTP:BL or other spambot/botnet blacklist = automatic disqualify

The bluewhackadoo exchange offers an exchange of your 5 ZS for 0.0011 BTC. You could also go to any of the other exchanges that support ZS and sell some to get the btc needed.

Particularly point 2. You are not rewarded for voting but rather exchange your ZS for the BTC needed to make your own vote. You can keep the BTC or buy a lolipop or put it to good use and cast a vote for ZimStake.

I don't ever ask for anything, but if everyone could GO VOTE FOR ZIMSTAKE!!! That would be great!

if i am not mistaking here we can vote only once. not once every hour/day/week. just only once.
if i am mistaking, how often can we vote?

Remember: This vote is not about trade volume (a lot of that volume is people trading the coin for BTC/LTC or to hold for long term investment) or which coin backers have the biggest advertising budgets; it is about how many people genuinely want to purchase items using a particular coin.

that is quote from rules. and for now there are only 13 ppl that wana trade with ZIM.

ONLY 13 PERSONS!!!!!!

It's their policy to only allow 1 vote per person, if they think you pay people to vote for you they will not allow that.
