Zimstake bootstrap.dat (fast sync)A bootstrap.dat file allows a new or "stuck" Zimstake client/wallet to rapidly import a big chunk of the current blockchain from a local file instead of slowly downloading blocks from random peers. This process significantly reduces the time it takes to get a wallet synced with the current blockchain.
Simply having bootstrap.dat in Zimstake's expected data directory will make your initial block sync much faster.
bootstrap.dat import instructions (WIN)1. Download and unzip latest Zimstake client
http://bit.ly/1RV95UP if you need a fresh install, launch client, close client after wallet opens
2. Download bootstrap.dat file
http://bit.ly/1G3Zeqk3. With Zimstake client closed, extract/copy bootstrap.dat to the Zimstake data folder > "%USERPROFILE%\appdata\roaming\zimstake"
4. Launch Zimstake client, get a cup of coffee and wait as the magic (slowly) happens and blockchain file is imported
5. Import finishes, wallet opens, wait a second for those last few blocks to catch up, enjoy your fully synced wallet
6. ***Clean Up*** After your wallet is synced, delete any .old files in Zimstake data directory to recover some hard drive space
PM me your synced ZIM wallet address if you need a few Zimstake to get started
