I was just wondering if there is anything physics related to Bitcoin, or cyrptocurrency in general, other than like the power requirements and such for the miners/GPU's.

The idea could be said to be mathematical only, but the implementation is highly physical. How is the data of bitcoin stored? The manipulation of electrosensitive substrate, how is that information transmitted? Via electricity and light waves.
