JUICIER LEMONS A typical lemon contains 3 tbsp of juice. To maximise the amount you can squeeze, roll the fruit on a kitchen counter, applying light pressure. This bursts the tiny juice-filled cells. ... ... INSTANT ICE CUBES It may sound unlikely, but water that’s been boiled will freeze faster than water straight from the tap. The reason is something called the Mpemba effect, named after a Tanzanian man Erasto Mpemba who first brought this to the attention of physicists. ... RESCUE BURNT RICE If you burn your rice, don’t despair. Just remove from the heat and place a piece of white bread on top of it for about ten minutes. This will extract and absorb the burnt flavour. The rice should be fine to eat, but be careful to leave the blackened pieces on the bottom of the pan when serving. .... Much more here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2604736/How-THREE-TIMES-juice-lemons-brilliantly-simple-kitchen-tips-change-life.htmlThe fast freeze ice cubes is crazy, I've never heard that before. You might be able to impress "new friends and lovers" with how much you know about working in the kitchen. Will this info really change your life?

Does white bread really remove bad flavors? Might try that some day, but I don't buy white bread.

... nice advice i've learned a few tricks from this post now i will never cursed the lemon from being not to juicy when i squeeze them for some lemon juice The same thing works really good for juice oranges and limes. Just "pre-squeeze" a bit and you get more juice. ....Oh, it's been wayyyyyyy too long since I squeezed a fresh orange.

I do not believe in instant ice cubes as I was many times using boiled water to make ice cubes and maybe it was faster - I dunno but for sure not instant.

The instant ice cubes is a myth. It has no basis in reality.

Some tips: 1) If you're cooking for someone important — whether it's your boss or a date — never try a new recipe and a new ingredient at the same time. 2) After working with garlic, rub your hands vigorously on your stainless steel sink for 30 seconds before washing them. It will remove the odor. 3) When chopping herbs, toss a little salt onto the cutting board; it will keep the herbs from flying around.

"Instant" looks like a really poor choice of words in the title. Faster is possible and I'll remember to try it sometime.

Please, check your facts here....A quick look seems to indicate that "hot water can freeze faster than cold" https://www.google.com/search?q=Mpemba+effect&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&channel=sb

1) For best results when you're baking, leave butter and eggs at room temperature overnight. 2) To make a great sandwich, spread the mayonnaise from corner to corner on the bread. People rush this step and just do a swoosh down the middle. Every bite should be flavorful. 3) Take the time to actually read recipes through before you begin. 4) Recipes are only a guideline, not the Bible. Feel comfortable replacing ingredients with similar ingredients that you like. If you like oregano but not thyme, use oregano.

Yes indeed! Those things are everywhere. I must say it is very hard to "get rid" of all of them... as those are everywhere ... on our cloths, shoes, keyboards (A LOT THERE!) and everywhere. This is a reason why you shouldn't keep a toothbrush near your closet.
