You may check the hashrates for each pool(they will have other coins running) to see which one could handle such large hash jumping in on launch. Personally I would recommend pool.mn cuz I minined there before

Seems like an interesting coin. I hope the dev's funds generated from this coin focus on campaigning and lobbying to lower higher education costs making colleges/universities more accessible to everyone. You have a potentially good thing going here. I wish your team the best of luck.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, however we look forward to proving you wrong.

You'll be surprised what can be done by people who actually care about their project.

...

Then prove it! CHANGE THE FUCKING PoW ALGORITHM!

No dev in their right mind would just allow asics to rape their coin if it could be helped. This has already been reiterated many times, getting to the point of beating a dead horse. The only reason for not doing this is if you're not a real dev since you don't know how or you don't in fact care about your coin as you claim (eg. dump and cash-in your premine for example) -- or both.

The amount of people that have scrypt-asics is negligible and we are only PoW mining for 1 week.

We have considered your request, however the team has decided to stick to scrypt and in no way is this an indication of our incompetence or negligence to our project.

Thank you for your concern, however we do not feel as if this vastly effects our long-term growth plans.

Well the ones that do have asic are going to dominate and get the majority of coins, which is bad for distribution. Additionally, this isn't just about scrypt-asics but multipools as well. If they point their hashing power to UVC you can expect dumping and a lot of selling pressure. On the other hand, switching to a different algo you don't have to worry about that as much  since most multipools aren't setup to mining anything other than scrypt.

All that really means is more undervalued coins for investors during the PoW stage Smiley

A long-term oriented project like this has much more potential than a majority of the other altcoins that are solely short-term profit driven. I think too many people in this community are too focused on the short term whereas the real success comes from backing projects that have a real strategy in place.
