There will be a dump before the bitcoin show starts. Buy on rumors and sell on news. The trend is heading down back to possibly 3 maybe even 2. My crystal ball say short, short, short!

I doubt that. It would take a lot to get to 2 again. It would have to crash to low levels several times to wipe out the ones who would still be buying, before it takes out enough resistance to drop that far.

I'm not shorting. My position is long with 1500 bitcoins leverage 10:1. I have another 3000 bitcoins to buy if it drops down more. I'll just keep adding my long position until I cash out with a fat profit.

That's called a martingale.  Watch out, you'll get hurt... that is, if it goes down at all. And it will, but not to $2-3.  Probably not even to $5.

I'm not worry too much. =) I'm not going to get a margin call and don't plan on it. I'll just add more btc or usd to the account.

The part I think a lot of people miss is the differences between a rally and a crash as far as how the market reacts.  So, I'll attempt to explain it.

  • During a...

    • rally a couple big buys cause people to jump on the train, riding it up the hill without much movement on the ask side of the order book.
    • crash a couple big sells induce panic that not only sell off coins but cause orders to be ripped from the bid side of the order book.  Driving prices into the ground.

Granted, there will be people buying at any price but the traders are smart and we've got some big players in the market this time.

My two cents are free. Smiley

Its this that will make the next rally even bigger. This is ultimately why we climbed so fast in the first place. That and since everyone is yelling sell and crash that means it will go up. From my experience when everyone is on here with topics going RALLY RALLY RALLY we have a big drop right then.

so by all means... SELL SELL SELL

this. think long-term guys. the MACD hasn't even crossed the EXP yet, the price seems pretty stable, and we could rally within the week.

If you guys think about it, bitcoin doesn't mean much except for a small group of people with millions in USD and everyone on this forum. I believe that bitcoins are not worth 6.50, not even 10 or 15 or 20. The correct price for bitcoin is around 1 usd to 3 usd. If you want bitcoins to be around 5 10 15 20 or even 100 usd, come back in 10 years.

Bitcoin means something to those that would like to gamble online in countries that wont allow. There are those that use them to buy and sell drugs. There are more people who are interested in bitcoins than you might think. The fact that there will only ever be 21 million of them means that there will not be enough bitcoins for everyone (which is why they are so divisible). I am not sure what the price should be as that has yet to have been established.

Hang on you think you ought to be getting any product for less than half the electrical cost to make it, what a genius? Isn't production going to half in about a year, aren't we just about to get some major coverage?

Oh sorry I was dumb, I get it, you're trying pwn the noobs...

I made Bitcoin tweeting today, do that with paypal!

It was a cunning plan to have the funny man be the money fan of the punning clan.
