Former Gawker writer Adrian Chen has announced on Twitter that he’ll Doxx Satoshi Nakamoto this Wednesday. Doxxing is a process of exposing someone’s true identity.

The American freelance journalist, currently working as an editor for The New Inquiry, promised that there would be a live doxxing of Satoshi Nakamoto at IRL Club on Wednesday, April 30th, at 7:30PM.

Full Story: http://altcoinpress.com/2014/04/satoshi-nakamoto-true-identity-to-be-revealed/

World-wide exclusive breaking news here
The true identity of former Gawker writer Adrian Chen is tonight being revealed:
He is actually Adrian Chen of The New Inquiry.   Cheesy

Edit:
Chen is well known for raw investigative journalism and is certainly no stranger to controversy. In 2012, he won a Mirror Award for his story in Gawker revealing the true identity of Michael Brutsch, a Reddit moderator who oversaw several controversial forums such as r/creepshots and r/jailbait.

After the Newsweek fiasco of March, chances are that Chen has done his homework in the Nakamoto case and won’t make the same mistake that Leah McGrath Goodman made when she mistakenly reported a California retiree as being the infamous inventor of Bitcoin.

I recognize the corrupting influence the fractional reserve banks have on my government, countrymen, hell the whole world. I will do my part to end this evil.

Of course it has to be someone new for the purposes of the article.

But many have deep suspicions about Dorian.

My bet is that Dorian is one of the technical people.  Szabo is part of the initial group as well.  And dorians employment by the Govt on "top secret projects" right during Bitcoins formative years is deeply suspicious.  But I still think he should be left 100% alone.  I don't think its any coincidence whatsoever that Andreas is having pastrami lunch with him (https://twitter.com/search?q=aantonop%20pastrami&src=typd), and hanging out with him so much.  Pretty sure Andreas has better things to do..... if he didn't think this was Satoshi.... his lifetime idol.

What's surreal and wonderful about teaching an old asian man the basics of bitcoin?
Whats surreal and wonderful about hanging out with Satoshi?

And again, nothing bad about any of this.  Just have my hunches.  Smiley  Leave Dorian alone!   (except andreas)

We will need to ask Satoshi; I already quoted the first version of your post.

can't i just pay .007 btc to get the mcfood and then stay here on Earth

mcfood? = Yummy chemicals?
By the time Satoshi returns your .007 btc might buy you enough Steak and Lobster to last a week or more.

Can you imagine buying this for only 0.001 BTC?  Smiley

They better not do it. They will only ruin someones life.

I wish these Journalists would fuck off, I'm not a violent person but part of me wants to stick them in a space capsule and fire them in a random direction so they can go and try and act this way to an advanced alien race or get hit in the face by an asteroid, they have just no respect for peoples livelihood or privacy.

how do you guys feel about them doxxing satoshi? i kind of don't like it - the guy obviously didn't want the spotlight on him.

if some journalist for a website can figure out his identity, don't you think the government has already?

I am amazed by the disregard of the usage of plural in the bitcoin whitepaper. Satoshi Nakamoto is most certainly a group of people, with various expertise in economics as well as mathematics and programming.

It is standard to use plural in scientific papers even when there's a single author. The use of plural in the Bitcoin whitepaper says very little about its author other than that he/she/they may have some background in academia.
