World-wide exclusive breaking news hereThe true identity of former Gawker writer Adrian Chen is tonight being revealed: He is actually Adrian Chen of The New Inquiry. Edit: Chen is well known for raw investigative journalism and is certainly no stranger to controversy. In 2012, he won a Mirror Award for his story in Gawker revealing the true identity of Michael Brutsch, a Reddit moderator who oversaw several controversial forums such as r/creepshots and r/jailbait. After the Newsweek fiasco of March, chances are that Chen has done his homework in the Nakamoto case and won’t make the same mistake that Leah McGrath Goodman made when she mistakenly reported a California retiree as being the infamous inventor of Bitcoin.

They better not do it. They will only ruin someones life. Most likely this is a weakass attention-grab for some no-name writer no one gives a shit about. 30 seconds of infamy, so to speak.
