In other news, does anyone know what's up with dgex? It hasn't been allowing NXT trades all day.

According to this thread there are some security issues
https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,3.885.html

UPD:
Graviton: "During the recent days there has been a coordinated attack on DGEX towards a limited number of accounts, whose credentials have been snooped through unknown methods. This is most likely a malicious XSS link somewhere on the net but we don't know where and how many accounts are affected. Trading and most other functions remain suspended while we implement a 2-factor solution. No unauthorized withdrawals are let through."

I really love nxt and think will be better than bitcoin.
But please dont manipulate Or lie when promotong nxt.

I say this because in the infographic pf history pf payments,it Says things like bitcoin can Only do 7 tps and nxt 1000,when bitcoin 7 tps is artificial and will be higher, and we are still far from 1000 tps.

If Thats what i first read of nxt,i would think they are trying to sell me rubbish and forget about it.things like this make smart money run away.

Please dont do it,we dont need it

Unfortunately, salsacz has a habit of this kind of "marketing"

(1)  How "nxt" will help poor people (total crap theme to promote nxt among US businesses),
(2) Anti-US clips (snowden and stuff -- again hurting nxt adaption for US businesses)
(3) Promoting features that are not implemented yet and might never get implemented
(4) Stealing copyrighted videos and stamping nxt logo on them

I like his energy and effort, but  I am not sure if he does more harm than good

This is not good.

Stealing videos, even if they are not copyrighted, is horrible for the brand. It shows we are too cheap to come up with our own stuff. This is more harm than good.

Guys just to share with you all that Wesleys client works like a charm. It warns you of everything and I think it is completely suited for newbies. All that we need now is an easy 1 click installer, even though I have to admit a current installation is not difficult at all.

I am very excited about NXT future!!  Wink

Those are just concepts, or would you really invest 100K USD into videos without any concepts? I am begging for own stuff for 40 days https://nxtforum.org/nxt-promotion/nxt-solutions-of-decentralized-internet-show-nxt-faces/ and how many videos people sent me? 0

The author of the investigation into instamines and fastmines is keen to add nxt, msc etc to the comparison.

The nature of Nxt's 100% pos is that all coins that ever exist need to be created at the start for it to work. We have no inflation and if you have a numerator of people forging, you need to know what the denominator is to calculate the target. It would be easy to interpret this as '100% instamine' and if have offered a method of comparing nxt in my last post.

The author is asking for solid links he can review himself to confirm any statements I.e. length of 'ipo', number of founders, giveaways/bounties/selling after initial distribution, raw data on current distribution etc.

Can people in the know post links and explanations here pls:

Yes, the Overstock CEO gave me his email, but did so publically in a reply to me, so I am just hoping that noone starts spamming him.

Do you know what is the stake of Bitcoin and PoW ? It's mining material and elecricity, it isn't fair distribution. With Nxt, you can invest in NXT and forge. It's cheaper to buy has mining hashrate, and you don't have to throw it away after utilisation.

Bitcoin is a scam from the hardware and power industry !  Cheesy

Premining repartition has nothing to do with PoS like Nxt. It's PoW question.

NXT is  in Nxt the equivalent of hardware in Bitcoin. NXT isn't really a coin like BTC.

he especially wants to be first company to have its shares on Nxt AE - can he just issue an asset and not care about the gateways? Me and 2Kool4Skewl provided him some useful links and invited to our forums, so we will see.

Except that is a very *dumb move* salsa. I was the one who got him interested in NXT and AE and he gave me his email because he wanted to discuss it in a more professional manner.
Inviting him to a random forum is not optimal at all. Bringing him into the forum after he knows WTF nxt even is is a MUCH better way.
Now he can be unimpressed with our community and thus dump the technology.
When you knew he had given me his email you should've just let it be. If this somehow falls apart because of you.....
