Okay. Let us stop here. I think you made your points. We will never know what is true or false. But it does not matter anyway.

Let us resolve the issue at hand:

@Uniqueorn
Handle that CEO carefully and efficiently. No need to waste his time.

@Salsacz
Back off this time. I am under the impression you got a lot of other work at your hand.

Much +1.

We need to be professional here.....this is serious biz, not a bloody schoolyard
(And just like a teacher, I don't care who started it)

Unique: If u have serious issues with the MC, just keep at least a couple of sane guys in the loop. Don't try to wing it on your own completely. We are meant to be a team, more or less.

I always get shit done. That's why the guys who do real marketing comes to me and not to salsa.
Of course I will keep anyone who is relevant and helpful to the discussion involved. I am sue I'll need technical assistance and for that I have CfB, Wesley, James etc.

First of all it's all about getting him to keep his interest. I noticed that 2kool4skewl and Sarth's posts had been downvoted and had a lot of false info about NXT replied to them. So he might've been spooked away from NXT already due to FUD. Wouldn't be the first time NXT is victim of a FUD campaign.
But we'll see.

I know, but I think that we should request their e-mail. Of couse there is absolutely no guarantee that they'll hand it over, but I think we should at least try to get as many as possible to sign up for a "update list" so we don't have to gamble that they'll visit the forum and see that it needs to be done.

I cannot agree more with you. But how? Cheesy

We cannot request the email because we have no email of them. I wrote to http://nxtdb.info/. But many others do not even have such site. Just a domain. :/

Sadly the only way is the old fashioned way of asking "If you are node provider can you send ChuckOne your email so he can compile a list which will make it a ton easier for him to alert everyone to crucial updates?"

There's not really anything else we can do if we don't even have their NXT adress that we could send a message to ;\

Quick suggestion on the old NRS nodes/hardfork at 130,000 problem:

Someone (not me) runs the IPs thru WHOIS, and comes up with an e-mail address for the admin of that IP.
Send the admin a mail explaining the situation (stress that the fork could lead to people losing money...slight stretch, but not a complete lie) and ask them to forward the mail to their customer.
This will be harder for nodes on dynamic IPs, but if u specify the correct (GMT) time as well as IP, it should be doable. Fixed IPs will be fairly easy to reach this way, i hope.

Example:

From my active peers, 81.82.248.205 is running 8.12.
81.82.248.205 in WHOIS comes out as:

IP Location:    Belgium Belgium Mechelen Telenet Operaties N.v.
ASN:    Belgium AS6848 TELENET-AS Telenet N.V.,BE (registered Nov 29, 1996)
Resolve Host:    d5152f8cd.static.telenet.be
IP Address:    81.82.248.205

inetnum:        81.82.96.0 - 81.83.255.255
netname:        TELENET
descr:          Telenet Operaties N.V.
country:        BE
admin-c:        PS396-RIPE
tech-c:         PS396-RIPE
status:         ASSIGNED PA
mnt-by:         TELENET-DBM
mnt-lower:      TELENET-DBM
source:         RIPE # Filtered

role:           Technical Internet
address:        Telenet Operaties N.V.
address:        Liersesteenweg 4
address:        B-2800 Mechelen
address:        Belgium
remarks:        trouble:      IMPORTANT: To report intrusion attempts, hacking,
remarks:        trouble:      IMPORTANT: spamming, or other unaccepted behavior
remarks:        trouble:      IMPORTANT: by a Telenet/Pandora customer, please
remarks:        trouble:      IMPORTANT: send a message to abuse@pandora.be

Drop the mail to the 'abuse' address, should reach their customer fairly quickly.

This is gonna be a lot of boring work, and there are only 3 days to go.....

Luckily, i'm on holiday. Discuss this among yourselves, decide if it's worth doing and, if so, get cracking on it.

WHOIS result for nxtdb.info gives:
skor2k@gmail.com
as the registrant.

Makes it even easier....

I'm off to bed, I havent contacted the above 2 examples.

Having a company like Overstock issuing stocks on Nxt AE is bigger than anything other alternate cryptocurrencies could ever dream of. Please don't screw this up guys. Salsacz, you seem like a good guy trying to do too much - let other people do what they are supposed to. I know there's no bad intention there but something wanting too much is like not wanting it enough.

You are putting the brand at risk with your questionable marketing.. this needs to stop.

I mean... copying videos and such.

The article is great, no doubt about that. It has caused a spike in the price too I think. Thank you for that.

I mean... copying videos and such.
you mean using themes for these videos?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHripFih2_A

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69kaz3D7m4s

Or using 10 second compilations for the video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4HW-TP9RD4

- none of them was published at any site, but they can inspire some people, so we could get in touch with some of the companies/charities/videomakers.. You can take this as a script. Nobody makes videos (except some live) or scripts for videos. This is a cheap way how to show ideas behind Nxt without all technical stuff. + a desperate movement for any comments about these things. To see, if anyone even cares about crypto revolution. Nobody was willing to start any discussions about our videos, what should be there. Nobody.

And such? I asked for specifics.
I made this photo 6 days ago. It was quite a long trip:

then there is this text about Nxt's future from mid-February, I was writing it at my long journey to Bitcoin conf in Berlin: http://justpaste.it/nxt-decentralized-internet
- you can see also a video there, it took a little longer, but still, the goal is simple:

https://nxtforum.org/nxt-promotion/nxt-solutions-of-decentralized-internet-show-nxt-faces/
- to replace those guys by our faces.

How many people sent me their recordings in next 40 days so we could have our own content? 0

Strange, you think we could have least pulled some video together. (probably not a lot of extroverts in the crypto-community.. Tongue )

A part of the problem is that there is very little incentive.
See the guy who made the hyper-professional "What is NXT?" video? He was so dissapointed with the ridiculously low amount of NXT he recieved for his work that he didn't want to work more on NXT until I contacted him to get him to make animations for NXT.org aswell as some private projects me and some other sgot coming up.

We can't pay people shit money and hope that people will care to take initiative.

Looks like Nxt is far beyond the horizon in comparison with any other coin. Hopefully we'll see the right Nxt price and adoption by the end of the year.

Click on blocks, then top right dropdown menu, choose "forged by you"
