Two secret admirers/benefactors have just sent me 500 NXT each! Their Nxt address has not been published on BTT or nxtforum, so I don't know who they are. But thank you for supporting me and affirming the gesture I made. Perhaps, in the right community, one does reap what one sows.

You can create several accounts and send messages or NXT back and forth between them. Just open another tab in your browser with the localhost address, and create a new account.

Great!

Just a tip for making it even better:
It is always better instead of having a big login box for existing users, leaving that place for new users. Otherwise people (like me) are lazy to open a new account.

Cool!

A couple of questions:
if I create a wallet on this site, will my accounts be always forging? Or only when I'm online? Or never?

This is true. I also think it's important not to try to compete directly with bitcoin. The "NXT is better than bitcoin because..." strategy sets up a them-and-us dynamic that alienates people who might otherwise be really interested

+1000 !!

We do NOT want to be seen as thinking we're the next bitcoin.

Bitcoin and NXT occupy very different spaces in the cryptoeconomy and can happily co-exist. in fact all 2nd gens can happily co-exist. It's bad marketing anyway to dis competitors rather than promote your own benefits.

And here we go, Qora will have alias trading sooner than Nxt although Nxt has been launched over 6 months ago.

Hi all, i'm a long time miner (Go DRK!) but new to NXT.  So i've installed the "one click install" wallet on my Windows 7 PC and all seems to be OK.

I've got 100 (less a couple for fee and test transaction) NXT in there, the wallet has been running for less than a day.

How long until i start forging? I think i read i need to keep it open for atleast 24 hours?  On my Dashboard screen, when i click "forging" it says my net account balance is 0.  yet I have 97 NXT?

Is there anything I need to do now?

Once I start forging, if i reboot my PC for example, will i loose the 'forging' status when i re-launch my wallet?

Thanks,
Ili

If anyone feeling generous pls help me build my NXT account: 13132972958635556559

hmm, i just registered for an online wallet. i get this error message when i login: "Balance value: Error fetching balance, please try again"

i also sent my coins from cryptsy to the online wallet. i checked my newly created wallet number in the block explorer to track the transaction and when i enter the wallet number it says "nothing found".

did i do something wrong? or is this normal and do i simply have to wait longer for things to appear?

thanks.
