So many things make this look legit.

Why spend 3 days making improvements to the web site before opening the NXT market if you plan to run away a week later?

Why set fees to 0% for two days after the first outage and pay FeeShare dividends from his pocket?

Why spend so much time creating a stable wrapper for the Qora blockchain when he could have just used the wallet?

People do cave to stress though. If the site was hacked or a DoS attack and hack and coins were stolen zip could have felt responsible and was unable to come online and mention what happened. Then all the cyber bulling might have driven him more underground and made him decide, the hell with it, I'll just keep what I have an call it a day, no one has any faith or trust in me or the exchange.

The biggest red flag is the zero communication. But, there was zero communication during the first outage. If this was a hack, I hope Zip owns up to it and does the right thing, returning as much coins as he can from what he has in cold storage, because the site claimed "security was most important".

IF we create a thread with all sharexcoin account holders asking DigitalOcean sharexcoin owner's Details
in order to force him to send the coins back ?
how things this action might help a bit ?

Digitalocean has been welcoming accounts for altcoins
and if 100 of us gather they will give us info

then if we know his real name maybe we can force him to send the coins back ?

I like this idea!

For the crypto business to mature and get rid of scammers, it needs be able to give out punishment by itself. Let's track him down and show that this is not tolerated!

Would this come under internet fraud in US?
We got the DO IP address, which would eventually be tracked down to a credit card address.

Is it possible to make an official complaint with the police for internet fraud in US?

He was based in the US so it must be possible to prosecute him there.
Who can take on to do a list of everyone who has claims?
I think 1500 people were registered at ShareXCoin. If everyone joins the prosecution costs won't be too heavy for any single person.

This business really needs to get rid of the scammers.

Last number of accounts I recall was over 5000.

Unfortunately, I will refuse to support ShareCoin anymore in my project - cryptomart.co
Does not matter if the dev is coming back with excuses and shit.

The coin had lots of potential, unfortunately the dev seems to only care by his gains.
What I see here is a dev who got very excited at the start, developed a very nice exchange from my point of view.
He made some calculation, and seeing that profits are coming with a lot more work than that, he abandoned it.

I still hope it was a hack and in some way he'll come back and try to repay the damage, but the chances are very low taking into consideration that he did not responded for almost 2 days.

Seems that nice talkers are always hiding something...
I was impressed by his project and ideas, and it felt nice to be into this from the start.

I want to let you know that I will dump all my coins with the first chance I get. I don't care anymore if the coin will work 1000 or 10.000 sat in the future.
I own around 10kk at the moment.

BTW, the dev is not from US

well said, but dumping isn't a gread idea, I think. I own 200k sharecoins and even with the last buy support (before the crash), I can't sell my coins without a loooot of loss

I guess it better that ziplibrary stole our coins now and not later - it could have ended much worse for everyone.

"If you are reading this din, i know what you are thinking, "they were so dumb they deserved it", well no being dumb isn't immoral, stealing peoples money how ever is. Someday you are going to grow old and you are going to die and you are going to have to look back on your life and at that point money wont mean anything, your choices here however might. And if they don't than you have an even worse problem. I do not envy you." - this was said by Anon136 about a different scammer (NFD)

I prefer my coins to be stolen and not be in ziplibrary position.

I prefer my coins to be stolen of me and not be in ziplibrary position....That is good but Everynewday there is anew lesson and i am pretty sure he\she ziplibrary will not enjoy it and soon or later he will lost it but i agree with our brothers in USA to hold him accountable for it so this ridoff the scammers.

it was fishy from the launch, the fee to keeps your coin in the exchange ecc...

this exchange can be related to coinmarket .io vanished in the same way, one is just faster

as I heard from someway, zip ( or his team ) is from flappycoin team.

so after the "flappy" coin he tried the rough way, and he succeeded...

There are also other rules of precedence  that this could be filed under since crypto currencies fall under both property/commodity laws (IRS rules) And money laws (FINCEN) There is definitely a case for grand larceny and fraud...

Crypto "Banks" (~PoS pools) do not work.

God only knows why so many markets were added.

All views are my own, except those that I have subconsciously inherited from my parents and those that I have nicked from far cleverer people.

All he needs to do is say SOMETHING! Assuming it really was a hack.

They "said" stuff about security. That doesn't mean they did it. Also, not 100% of coins are in cold storage, a good amount is in the hot wallets.

We don't call that a hack when it is the developper which runs away with the money, we call that a scam  Grin

Okay so did I lose 1 BTC that was waiting on HYPER orders?

If zip doesn't come back and either re-open the exchange or at least reopen withdrawals, then sadly yes.
