The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

borrowing where repayment is in btcs carries an exchange rate risk.  what if the cost to you to repay the loan (in terms of fiat) ends up being twice that of the amount you got from the btcs borrowed?

Alright we'll have it as maybe 10 or 15% the rate in USD. payed back in bit-coins to avoid any fluctuating prices in bit-coins. Thanks!

Alright could we also have it as a loan of $100 usd (currently 14.7 btc) and I pay back 20% interest so $120 in the nominal value of bit coins, just in case the price of bit coins fluctuates? Also would it be okay on the 21st instead of the 20th? Also how exactly do I create a Bitcoin-Otc account?
Thank you

Creating a bitcoin-otc account: http://wiki.bitcoin-otc.com/wiki/GPG_authentication .

I would prefer a BTC-BTC loan Smiley , I'm not betting against BTC. In fact, I believe BTC price will go up in the next days.

Looks like he just put up a bunch of his stuff for sale.  He may be trying to raise funds to pay you guyes off:

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

I really doubt anyone will ever buy from him until he sorts this mess out...

Or he may be a scammer who wants to gather as much money as possible before he is found out.

I hope he's just raising funds :\

Still nothing.

kujoking7 replied to a PM, claiming he could make the repayment tonight, but he didn't.

kujoking7, please don't make false claims. Be sincere: you invested our BTC going long on BTC and then you got burned and couldn't repay your debt. Now you are trying to gain funds, and this is OK, but just be sincere and open.

Other people will appreciate it.

By the way, I expect at least 3 BTC more for this late repayment if you manage to repay this week, add 5 BTC per week.
