Hi

We have updated our wallets and source to tackle the recent issue BCC was facing. We are also changing the rewards and moving towards a pure POS coin. Below are the details on how the rewards are now:

Up to Block 7560 - 20 BCC/Block

Reward will double every 360 blocks up-to block 11,520

Next 26 blocks will be 81,920 BCC/Block

Last block will be 60,000 BCC

After this, BCC will be pure POS.

Pools and miners will have to switch to the new source before it starts syncing.

Edit: Please contact pool owners if you can.

From the pool...   "Looks that BCC has been timewarp attacked. The blockchain is frozen until the developer can fix the issue. Stratums have been taken down and cron payouts are disabled until further notice - see the BCC thread for updates."

Maaan, still the same bug with lowercase icons in the ressource folder -.-

I have verified this. The problem is still there. It's very easy to fix:

...When I first tried compiling it came up with an error. There is an inconsistency in the naming of the files. Two of the files have letters with inconsistent case and I think all you need to do is rename the files so that they match what the compiler expects to see. Doing the following in Linux fixed it for me:

cd src/qt/res/icons
mv btctalkcoin-16.png BTCtalkcoin-16.png
mv btctalkcoin-128.png BTCtalkcoin-128.png

If you make this change, I don't think it will affect Windows because Windows isn't case sensitive. You guys take your time; I'm not in a rush to get this fixed. Thanks for your developing this nice coin for us!

Another thing is that when you compile on Linux, you need to comment out a section near the beginning of the btctalkcoin-qt.pro file. Those 12 lines are needed for Windows , but cause errors when compiling for Linux. At the very least, the instructions (readme-qt.rst) on how to compile for Linux should tell the users that they need to comment out those lines. I wonder if these lines could be automatically included/excluded depending on the OS. I don't know.

CharityMiningPools - Donate to Charity while you Mine!

btctalk.charityminingpools.com - Updated Wallet!

Come mine while making a difference.

All donations raised during this month will go to TheWaterProject.
(BTC Donation option soon to be added to our Campaign Page at https://thewaterproject.org/community/profile/charityminingpools)

STRATUM, VARDIFF, Datacenter Redundant Server Farm, Load Balanced Servers, Frequent Backups
0.75% Mandatory Donation fee to a Good Cause, 0.75% Pool Fees

Who Are We?
CharityMiningPools was created to allow miners the ability to mine coins while still knowing that their hashing power is going towards something good.  Our goal is to provide a positive and reliable service while delivering a small portion of the proceeds to a deserving recipient.  Plans are in the works to allow individual miners to choose where they would like to donate to based on a pool of available recipients.

How Does This Work?
All coins minded at CharityMiningPools will require a mandatory 0.75% Donation fee.  This donation fee will be collected and donated to the designated charitable recipient for that given month.  Though we only require a minimum 0.75% Donation fee, we welcome and encourage our miners to raise the stakes and donate more to a good cause.

Cheers!
