Started pouring again, we have no faith ?

What u mean? price is stable.. growing steady.. trading volume is growing. Everything goes fine. Besides price is not the only thing to watch. Check at development, marketing, etc.. all this is starting to move faster and in the right direction.

I also want the node to have a good future

hold your coin,
pro investor sell at news, noob investor buy at news sell at rumor  Grin

Pretty much.  If NODE starts ticking up in the next couple days then refrain from buying it.  It's the noobs buying high and selling low and they'll be losing money after a week or two.

yes, buy now as much as you can. you don't want buy high, right? this is your chance get node at very undervalued price  Wink

I can't launch the Linux client.

Running ubuntu 14.04 I followed the instructions on https://github.com/nodepay/Docs/blob/master/Instructions.md

No errors on install, but when I do
Code:
forever start index.js

I get:

Code:
forever: command not found.

I have:
nodejs -v
v0.10.25

but in the install dependenices it says:
Code:
Dependencies:

node v.0.10.29+

could this be the reason? funnily, Ubuntu 14.04 only has nodejs 0.10.25
so one would have to get 0.10.29 elsewhere??

Thanks for answering!

Thanks for the hint! Amazingly, Ubuntu 14.04 is bit behind with that!

So I used 'How To Install Using a PPA' from the DigO site- that has helped me in so far that I got to

nodejs -v
v0.10.33

Then what I realised was that there is a little typo snuck into into the instructions at https://github.com/nodepay/Docs/blob/master/Instructions.md

4) npm -g install forever

Does NOT install 'forever', instead it has to be:

Code:
sudo npm install forever -g

Now I have:

http://localhost:19775/#/loading

and the blockchain is being downloaded!

Thanks for the great work! Node Rocks!

I had the same problem on 14 Ubuntu. Here is solution:

Quote
Ubuntu and some Linux distributions install node's interpreter as /usr/bin/nodejs, and not /usr/local/bin/node.

You can solve this issue installing the nodejs-legacy package which creates a symlink from /usr/bin/nodejs to /usr/bin/node.

Solution:

sudo apt-get install nodejs-legacy
