Someone stole all my node with a reasonably secure password on a computer with good antivirus software that scans daily. None of my other accounts were compromised (most of which were worth significantly more than my node wallet) so I doubt the issue was from my end.

Only had about 10 USD worth of node at current prices, but still pretty upsetting that it got stolen. Posting here so other people can watch out in case it isn't an isolated incident.  Wallet it got sent to is 8484251769134092323

and I was definitely not the only one, and some people lost significantly more.  Here's the transactions for this wallet, but there could be other ones. http://nodemoney.com:19775/#/explorer/transaction/8484251769134092323

The parameters explorer and transaction does not work anymore?

Redirects to:
http://nodemoney.com:19775/#/login
I already wrote about it. We run NodePay and correct

So I re-installed my VPS so its up to the latest version.
All the steps worked and I can open up my NODE controller, but I keep getting this message:

Loading ... Please wait!
Blockchain verified complaite, wait synced blocks.

But I didn't see it actually download the blockchain, considering this was a fresh install.

Should I just leave it and let it do its thing?
Its been over an hour.

If you want i can send you the full blockchain for try, i´m running a vps (linux) too and it is working

Could you please, and let me know how to put it in?

yes this makes a bit nervous also. In Nxt, it usually turned out that some mistake had been made, but it is something that needs to be considered.

was/is there a leak in the webwallet landing page? usually, if such a thing occurs, thieves grab as much as they can, and we would have seen more of it.

*shrug* My account and none of the other ones I saw robbed the same day were used recently (it had been over a month for me, I don't remember the others exactly), maybe they want to be able to get small amounts of money for awhile or maybe there was something all of us just happened to do wrong? No idea what it is.

I never had problems with webwallet.
Spyware in your machine or FUD?

My machine is secure, and there were at least a few thefts at the same time.  I'm just looking to have whatever the problem was acknowledged and fixed (or in the off chance it was something that I did, I'd like to know what it was).

Well he has yet to show proof so who knows.  A lot of people have been trying to FUD node for a while now.

What proof can I show besides the blockchain?  Honestly I'd like the problem acknowledged, fixed, and to have my node returned. I know that last bit is some pretty wishful thinking, but I don't think it's too much to ask for the issue to be acknowledged.

what they are trying to tell you is that there is no flaw in the code. Most likely you fell a victim of password guessing. Perhaps your password was weak and was guessed easy. If there were tens of people's accounts getting hacked then we can assume there is a bug in the code and makes the brainpassword hashes easy to cipher. Until then, there is only few cases of report of hacks. Sorry. Most likely your password was weak sauce and got guessed. You can't point your fingers to the team for a refund

since you lost your coins. mind sharing your passcode?

Also since the website was (still?) not secure socket then they could have fallen to a man in the middle.

No volume almost at every pair. Looks creepy.

exchange been building their site for over a year.

what i love about it are few things:

1. they are regulated and registered with findland
2. they soon will add gold trades
3. they have been working on it for almost a year
4. they just added "open markets" so any new coin can add themselves. this will start to bring in volume from all the new coin trades as they can add themselves to this exchange
5. You can buy the company "stock" called "alcurex" and receive %50 of daily trades. So if the volume picks up and if you own these stocks you will receive daily dividend.

from their site : https://alcurex.org/index.php/crypto/alcurex_share
Shares held publicly: 70,980
Shareprofits is literally 50% of the exchange profits:
50% of the market feeprofits
50% of the BET profits
(Excluding server costs)

Your daily trade fee profit is:
Profit X 50% / Shares held publicly X your shares
MRC fee profit= Daily tradevolume X 0.2% - No server costs
BTC fee profit= Daily tradevolume X 0.2% - Server costs*: 0.0037 BCT
LTC fee profit= Daily tradevolume X 0.2% - Server costs*: 0.1000 LTC
*(Server capacity on 2014-12-02).

I'll risk some nodes there. Maybe is the exchange that will lift the node as Dgex with NXT. :p

I've been following this exchange since the beginning and initial offering.

There was some issues at first with the coders but halibit stepped up and has been working hard to get the exchange running for about a year now.

Alcurex has its own coin called microcoin, so far halibit has been transparent and has not given up.  He could have been done a long time ago but he has been persistent. It is based off Finland and the exchnage is currently working on trying to get USD EUR BTC licensed exchange.

Considering what just occurred we need somewhere with some serious track record.
