wait.... who's used alcurEX? I generate deposite address and it just gives me a QR code and not an option to use a string of numbers!? haha WTF tho

EDIT: after closer observation it seems the deposit address generation is not working. I downloaded a QR scanner and the QR code literally encodes the word "request"

See below:

a prime example of why we need polo to come to the rescue!  Grin

EDIT2: for future reference: eventually a number shows up there, even though the webpage is not telling you to wait still, keep waiting.

Worked for me with no issues on AlcurEX, it just takes a few minutes to generate.

alcurEX NODE wallet is behind firewall and even alcurEX site can't make direct connection to wallet.
Wallet server will pick up address "request" automatically on every 600 sec.
This way we don't need store wallet passwords on site/db servers.

Also withdraws will be processed automatically on every 600 sec.
Cold storage deposits to hotwallet, will be processed manually.

Maybe site should inform that better, yes.

So, there is few minutes delay with "Generate new address" process, but it makes excellent security for NODE wallet on alcurEX.

Dev - There is a problem with the online wallet. If you try to send NODE you get the confirmation dialog but when you click Send nothing happens.

I inspected it in the console and "addTransaction" is returning a 500 server error.

We did this change . Send from the local client

Paying for be listed in a exchange seem to me to be  ilogical, the exchange must earn of trading fees only, while more coins more trading and more profits, really ufly the exchanges world

I think so too! An exchange that demands money for listing a coin should not be taken seriouly!

we can start wih C-CEX, is voting poll... for free
any donation will help

That's right. No one wants place more BTC in Bter or in a small exchange as Alcurex. Or go to greater exchange or Node disappear.
Amazing, no one seems to mind.
That should be the main concern right now, even if he had to pay for it.
Do not expect a new exchange, made by devs va succeed before the node has a signigficativo market value.

Contact Poloniex and other big exchanges and offer 5,000,000 nodes to implement.

Currently contacting other exchanges, I suggest everyone else do the same. It's just an e-mail away.

Same here, I've been doing it for some time now.

If anything, we can vote with donations to C-CEX, 0.001 BTC = 1 vote. That's not much, let's all put into this.  It's worth it, just skip your cup of coffee for one day.

C-CEX wont help our cause, we need exchange which has some volume and people trust.

I understand, but Polo and Bittrex are ignoring requests. Let's just push onto ALL exchanges, not just a few chosen.  We want NODE on the stock market also, why not  Cool

How about getting node onto CCEX? Maybe I can reach the Dev of C-CEX! Why not be on several small exchanges? Different approach to Polo, Craptsy and Bitterex

I agree with L&F, approach ALL (or as many as poss) and see what comes out of it.

May I put in a word for Comkort?  Never used them myself, but recent buzz is they are very cooperative and efficient.

Swisscex & Lazycoins look good too.

I support being able to exchange NODE at multiple -even small- exchanges.

But my main concern for small exchanges is the risk of running away of the exchange owner. If an exchange does not have at least 40-50 BTC volume, there is no point to run it.
