About

MHA - Mental Health Awareness coin is designed to help people with mental health issues get away from the stigma society has created. I believe crypto-currency is great way of doing this and has especially helped me through tough times, having a coin dedicated to this will be an even bigger step in the right direction.

2 in 5 people suffer or know someone with mental health issues. This ranges from Bipolar Disorder, Depression and Dementia, I will ensure that the 2% premine gets fairly distributed between a whole range of mental health charities. To make this work I would like to donate at least a good amount to each charity, I am still awaiting contact from 5 charities. Once we have a blockchain up and running I will publicly give out the address with the premine in so people can see that it is still there until we reach a solid value 1 - 1 1/2 years time.

Any proceeds to services will be coming out of my own money and not the premine, the premine is purely for donation

To be transparent with you all when mining the premine I accidentally mined an extra 5 blocks, that is 50000 coins, This will also be going to Charity

Questions are good, I have been in contact with charities but most wont get involved unless the donation is of a significant amount ($10000) as its a waste of their time, They did say however they are happy to accept donations.

So ALL 2% pre-mine will be donated to Mental Health Charities ranging from Bipolar, Dementia, Schizophrenia and Depression.

I will sell the 2% for Real Money when the coin reaches a stable price and split it fairly between 6 - 8 charities dependent on who replies to me and who is happy with the effort we are making to provide a charitable donation.

I have had a long conversation with someone from one of the charities, They believe we should launch today so that's a week before mental health awareness week. so we can get some stability and bring it up with them then and maybe they will be more interested in putting time into the project themselves.

What is everyone's thoughts on this? I Kinda agree but it will be hard pushed to get pools ready.
