There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

The Blitzcoin community has rallied together and will secure the Blitzcoin network over an announced period. Don't worry there will be other (more complicated) option for people who miss the specified dates.
Transfer/trade date and time:

starts on Thursday May 8th, 2014 00:00AM GMT
ends on Sunday May 11th, 2014 11:59PM GMT

IF YOU TRANSFER YOUR BLITZ COINS OUTSIDE THESE TIME FRAMES, YOUR COINS COULD GET LOST AS THE BLITZ NETWORK IS UNSTABLE

Bittrex.com will be open for trading Blitzcoin as well as any deposit/withdraw you would like to do.  This will give everyone a fair opportunity to either buy/sell their Blitzcoin depending on how confident they are with our project.  This will also allow others to join the DistroBlitz train that do not have any Blitzcoin currently.

Being a blitz holder (yeah...) I'm into this project.

We need a serious escrow to take care of the premine !

This will require someone who is trusted on this forum...

Awaiting proposals (bounty included of course...) !

that will be added to bounty list. In fact a lot of stuff as to be added, like faucet/casino terms and conditions; bounty list. I'm focusing on the coin atm; so if the community would like to propose bounties to add and share ideas; that'd be great.

cheers

GREAT! You can count me in!

I was not paid for the BLTZ IPO, and it is so sad that Blitzcoin had such bad start.

I am here again ready to help, and now I will update my informative blog post in Portuguese language at http://criplib.blogspot.com.br

Thank you, and success for us all!

I had a discussion with Tamis yesterday; because he feels bad about me holding funds.

My answer to this; this is not blitz, this is a project of mine using blitz holders as a basis for future development.

You can't be 100% sure that i'm not scamming until hosted coins are escrowed. I'm in favor of escrowing those coins as soon as we have the fund release conditions; and after distribution.

I can't waste time prooving myself to you guys; simply because it is impossible.

The point is that you (for now) don't have a real choice to make. Blitz is dead and i'm trying to make something on its ashes.

I don't see the point scamming that way; but maybe you can be afraid and i'd totally understand.

No problem tho, as you can buy in during the 3 months.

Wallet is being tested yet; but I think release time is soon  Grin

DistroBlitz will be a reality soon. Currently the website is under development. Coin will be released soon (well; when debugging is finished; tested and verified.)

We are still working to find the best faucet / casino provider.

We thought (slavo and legendaryanvil) to add a losing poker project along losing casino. I don't know if you like this; tell us we'll consider it if you like it.

We're on the right path.

Your job, as community, should be to search for an escrow. I can't do it and you know that  Grin

I suggest an old member; if possible rated on bitcoin-otc; versus bounty or %.

We won't have a serious escrow if we are not paying him.

If I have any doubts about this escrow I take the right to refuse the community offer (I don't want to give 30% of our supply to the first guy around); but be sure that I won't if escrow is coming with full garantees and is highly rated.

Cheers guys; have fun!
