Hi everyone,

Anyone have any input on what they feel the perfect GPU mining rig would look like? I'm interested in building custom stuff for the community and would like to know what people are looking for.

Thanks for any feedback or suggestions.

Best,

Dare

Perfect rig:
1. Free.
2. Doesn't burn over time.
3. Fans don't break over time.
4. Not producing heat.
5. Not consuming electricity.

It's not the cheapest but runs really cool and energy efficient.

The r7 260x  at -20 power setting. Lowered gpu clock, high intensity. I get about 4 khash/watt. Very quiet to instead of one of the larger cards with a high rpm fan.

I run racks of these and 7850s. But these run nearly room temp which is amazing.

Cool.

Do you find that having open air mining cases is better?

Or you rather have a closed box solution so it can sit under the desk?

I made a bunch of open air mining cases which are just out of stock aluminum https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgsbKEolrjQ

But I'm curious if you think that's an efficient form factor or is it inconvenient? I.e. If you could have any case in the world for mining, what would it look like?

Best,

Dare
