I am convinced that Satoshi is Elon Musk. There are way too many coincidences that I explore in the book.

As Musk likes to say, fate loves irony -> the most entertaining outcome  Wink

It's no emotion, it's skepticism toward that idea of yours..

I have been reflecting on why the founder chose the name “Satoshi Nakamoto.” Like many others, I have gone down various theoretical rabbit holes, but ultimately I have come to realize that the simplest theory is likely the correct one.

1.The founder of Bitcoin needed a credible name in order to encourage people to read the protocol and download the Bitcoin software.
2.When an anonymous email address was needed, the founder found the company AnonymousSpeech.
3.When registering bitcoin.org, the founder copied the information of the company AnonymousSpeech LLC and registered the same details.
4.This is where the idea of Japanese origin emerges.
5.Satoshi is a variation of “Sakura” and was most likely inspired by a person; the name also likely contains one or more initials that the founder holds dear.
6.Nakamoto is a variation of the district “Nakano” and was most likely inspired by a restaurant the founder had visited in Nakano.

Is it true, friend... I'm also a little doubtful if that's true.

No one knows for certain the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. There's a lot of speculation and conjecture surrounding this. You're right, it's illogical to say that just one person could create a technology that revolutionized finance worldwide. Unfortunately, Satoshi Nakamoto seems to have been inactive for a while, even though his work is widely recognized worldwide. However, we don't know whether Bitcoin's true purpose is for good or evil. I pray that all will be well.

The Idea behind Bitcoin is for good purpose the truth of the matter remains that, no matter how good a thing is it will definitely have its areas of set backs or deficiencies but the main area of focus should be the problems that, such a thing will be solving. This also applies to Bitcoin if you ask me we should look at the problem that Bitcoin seems to solve.  With the way Bitcoin has been able to get recognition world wide we should look beyond who or the group of persons that came up with this noble idea Bitcoin and focus on the the positives of Bitcoin.

It is very smart to believe that a group made such hard technology, and fact that 1.1 million of BTC in accounts of Satoshi never moved proves that stock is even less and more valuable. Although I agree with you that they are not active, I would like to tell how Satoshi has not been active since December 2010, which is really far more than simple break, and might have been dead or fully retired. To me, this loss was last gift to world since it promises that Bitcoin is in ownership of all instead of being changed and pushed by one person. After all, you are not wrong to think about point of this tool, and now that it is becoming worldwide rule in money saving, future of this tool will be in hands of millions of users of tool.

I have researched this for a long time and I am fascinated by the technology behind Bitcoin. I am surprised that no one has taken credit for it; that is very, very unusual. People — especially smart people — are usually the first to brag about something good they have done.

I have examined all theories and candidates. The background of the name Satoshi Nakamoto is something I have written a theory about above. But regarding who the creator is, my theory is the following:

Think about it: Who would benefit the most from releasing the code for the greatest threat to the current financial structure? Who would want to be able to send black money across the world?

Bitcoin was created by the CIA, one hundred percent.
Period.

An unknown question in this Bitcoin forum is who is Satoshi Nakamoto really? No one can give a specific answer to this question. No one has ever seen him or even taken a selfie with anyone. No one has been able to identify whether he is a human or an alien or a group of people. You are in such a pseudonym or disguise that no one can detect your presence. No one can provide information whether he is alive or dead on earth. So in my view, Satoshi Nakamoto is a fictional person whom the world has failed to identify so far.

It goes without saying Satoshi Nakamoto is a fictional character but the person or people
behind the name are absolute legends, thats who Satoshi is, a 4uckin' legend.

Imagine someone* created a working code based on cryptography to bring the world a
decentralised, deflationary and borderless monetary system and to top that off had the
absolute skill to never leave as much as a breadcrumb of info pertaining to the identity,
pure genius.

Then to top if off, leaves the stash of Bitcoin and disappears - nobody else could pull that
off today.

Thats who Satoshi is a pure legendary genius.

I find it hard to believe that the CIA did not understand the consequences this technology could lead to. They surely conducted several impact assessments where they likely judged that the US dollar would withstand the limitations built into Bitcoin’s core code.

There is a fairly high probability that they misjudged how successful Bitcoin would become, because for the CIA the purpose was something entirely different — something Bitcoin was meant to solve. That is, sending money instantly, anywhere, without an intermediary, anonymously.

It is impossible for us to know, but the probability of different scenarios can still be calculated.

I imagine it must have been a very small group of agents working on these issues. When Bitcoin became known to the public and spread more widely around 2011, this working group would have needed to withdraw so that other CIA agents wouldn’t trace them. Something happened here that we will never know, but we do know that Gavin Andresen was questioned by the CIA in 2011, and that Satoshi seems to have mysteriously disappeared around the same time.

I believe the CIA ultimately backed out of the project because they realized Bitcoin was not anonymous. They also could not have predicted that tools like chain analysis would emerge.

Nobody believes Bitcoin will "threaten the US dollar" except a few Bitcoin maxi hardcores. The rest of us just view it as an investment. Bitcoin has no more chance of "threatening" the US dollar than NVDA stock or sports betting does.

There is a fairly high probability that they misjudged how successful Bitcoin would become, [...]

I completely agree with that point: clearly their little experiment got bigger than they anticipated. The only chance they had at that point was to try to quietly walk away.

And think about it: if they wanted to sell any of their BTC, it would be traced to the US government in two different directions. First, from standard chain analysis, and second through the US government since money like this would leave a huge paper trial.

I think they would have figured that out from the first moment. Personally I suspect the original idea behind Bitcoin was to create a honeypot to lure in users who think Bitcoin is anonymous (just look at so many posters here on this forum to this day who still think Bitcoin is anonymous).
