+1 for Community Dev Coin (CDC) Wink
Why? What do we have to lose? AC coins are currently worthless. I for one am looking forward to converting to AC2 and watch as another coin rises from the ashes. Hats' off to the guys stepping up to save it.

I think "AsiaCoin"  has to stay, maybe with a little modification. If, we change the name, it would feel as if we needed to hide something and maybe bring more confusion. (my opinion)

There is nothing to hide, we will make out of the thruth our strength !

And, if the new Dev manages that everybody gets their coins back, we could maybe see a nice re-birth

Also a very strong point!

I also agree.

"Asiacoin" has already built a strong brand name. Good or later bad, but people know it. Only thing we as a community will have to advertise that it  has been now taken over by the community, who is completely  transparent in their work, ethical in their manners and then we can get back the investors confidence.

Sorry guys but there's no fucking chance to Asiacoin 2.

There's no way that people will invest in this.

This is a waste of your time.

You all just want to dump your coins - this is obvious and I understand this.

I understand that you also want to fight, it's good but in Asiacoin scam only way is accept you loss.

That's my opinion. Sad, I know. Thanks God I sold this shit at 1190-900, after the scam was obvious.

Anyway, I respect your FIGHT and we'll be watching how it's going.

Best from me.

thank you m8.

we also sold all our asiacoins when we detected the scam. so actually we were the first who sold.
we were able to dump them for about 1400 sat yesterday.

but this work is just beeing done for the community.

It is funny that you have dumped your coins into other not so lucky people who bought your worthless AsiaCoins and now you want to help these people who bought your coins? LOL.

i have invested a lot of money into AC. i and 2 others from my team have detected the scam.
we posted it on the forums when the value was at about 1400 sat. and we sold immediately.
we even made loss with this step.

I'm another guy who sold all Ac before having a loss. I was a great believer in the potentiality of the coin. I'm watching your work and I hope to help you guys somehow. I was asking to myself if I can vote too for the name (since I have no ac maybe I shouldn't).

Anyway, my little opinion is: keep the name; that's a rebirth. That shows other people how (despite the old dev) community was always one of the greatest community a coin can have.
Because AsiaCoin Community ALWAYS was great...if the coin was a scam it's not because of the community. Community believed in AsiaCoin...and it still does! That's the point of all the work you're doing...so I think you should keep the name (you probably will have to argue sometimes with people who will say: "AsiaCoin? that scam? ahahhah you smell!" but who cares?)
I don't know...if you succeed i already imagine a wikipedia page about AsiaCoin  Cheesy

I don't think I'm gonna vote because I respect you and i don't think i should (since I don't have ac). But that's my opinion.

EDIT:
Maybe AsiaCoinCommunity? acc?...I don't know...now I'm just writing nonsense lol

Hi, please tell us all what's so special about your new altcoin.

A lot of us have been getting burned lately.

Why should we invest time, hash, and resources into your new coin?

hi altcoinherald,

this coin will be developed and maintained by experienced coderz
and passionate cryptoguys.

this coin is a pure PoS coin with 160 million coins. This coins are
going to be exchanged for (old) AsiaCoins.

There will be no hidden premine.

Transparency from the beginning. and special support from many of us.

This project is made for the AC community which got scammed by the dev.

you ask whats special about this coin?
well, the community is special.

we will make a smooth relaunch. Official multipool, multiple (3rd party) blockexplorers,
professional code review by some altcoin devs (incl. bitsta, ra1nb0wdash and others).

How you will distribute ACv2 for AC? Have some kind of plan or you will do it manually for some kind of proof?

yes we are planning to make it manually and public via this thread.
we are going to request the wallet.dat OR privatekey of your old wallet.

SIR how about me? i dont have ac wallet., im only using bittrex

we will set up wallets for the 1:1 exchange. this public keys will be posted here so
you will be able to transfer your coins to an "exchange"-adress.

How are you going to make sure that none of the billionblockbounty coins are converted into AC2?

How are you going to make sure that none of the billionblockbounty coins are converted into AC2?

There are bound to be some unsuspecting bag holders who bought some of these "illegal" coins at exchanges too, and if the coins are removed these innocent bag holders will lose out.

1. we have the address with the premined ACs
2. we can check every ACs previous output (and if they are an tx output from block nr. 1)

Hello Asia Coin Community,

It has been for a lot not easy and very disapointing moments when we understood what happened, and it is still, for many, not very clear what really happened.

Bitsta, Micryon and Goldmann, as  I have understood, are the new core of AsiaCoin2, is that right ? If it is thank you for stepping up.

Could maybe one of you, in a short mail, explain clearly what you think happened? What you have in plans for AsiaCoin2 and explain who you are and why you are stepping up ?

That everybody knows what will be the main next steps, as we really need clear communication.

Best wishes to you all

hi cryptoba,

i am responsible for community communication, developer support and milestone planning.
Micryon came up with this idea and motivated us to join the team.
Bitsa is the core developer.

Well it s clear what happened. The DEV of AC premined a hidden block. Have hidden that in his blockcrawler
and also edited the sourcecode to make everything looks normal ("getinfo")...

Why we are making this?
well i got a lot of messages after i posted that i dicovered (with the support of rainy & bista) the premined block and warned the community (while they were laughing at me and shouting "FUD").. bitsta also discovered strange memroy hops and datacommunication within the AC wallet.
well we sold all our coins (made a huge loss - bitsta lost about 25BTC....) and said lets forget it. but users kept writing us
and asking to help them, support the community, maybe take the project over, etc..

and there are really a lot of users who want this project to be relaunched. a lot of people have still money in it. so there is still a value in this. at least in the community. and we just want to support those people.

we will set up wallets for the "swap" and post them public in this thread. so before we start the "swap" we will make a list with each user in it and how many ACs are going to be "swaped" on that specific address..
