We've been testing our pool for a day now and everything looks good. I'm sure Cloudpost won't mind me posting this as he's the one that's been testing. So, feel free to spread some of the hash over here.

Thanks

Google is your friend... More people with this problem : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1993.20
Read, look and report back if it fixed it plz, just in case others have similar issues.
(just remember to backup your wallet.dat)

Thx for that, i try it tomorrow. in my case, i think that's because in my folder name i have an "é", so i try tomorrow and report back.

Ok, so after some test, wallet not like user folder with é or è, i try in different computer and same thing, but after changing my user foldername without an é that's working.

there was instamine because they were mining before you due to ninja launch.

Okay, I can answer this too.

First 200 blocks had mininmum rewards: 1 + 1d4 bonus (so it's 2-5 coins per block). We decided to do that as an instamine protection. First ~150-170 blocks moved really fast (because mined a genesis block few hours before) but after it adjusted and blocks become much slower. We started pool at block 230-250, because it was really hard to get the coins by solomining. 1-1000 blocks had lower block time, so all coin supporters who tracked the coin development will be the part of "launch party"

Now regarding the ninja aspect. I had Pre-Ann threads on 4 separate forums:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=520737.0
https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/8390-ninja-pre-annbdc-the-birth-of-black-dragon-coin-scrypt-jane-fantasy-coin-with-unique-features/
http://forum.blackdragoncoin.com/index.php?topic=20.0
https://forum.btcsec.com/index.php?/topic/7682-pre-annbdcrozhdenie-chernogo-drakonascrypt-jane-fentezi-koin/

we also have twitter, facebook, freenode IRC.

I posted a hint on all resources several hours before the launch, so all who's watching coin will understand that launch is near.
Finally I made a ANN thread on bitcointalk.org 15 minutes before launch and again posted info on twitter/facebook/other forums/IRC.

I loved the launch. Perfect way of doing it to reward people who were interested.

This was seriously one of the best launches this year.

10/10 would watch launch again.

One thing I would like for this coin to target is the gaming community.

Buying and selling digital goods (games even) nowadays is becoming bigger and bigger and it is sort of an untouched market for coins.

Edgecoin was going to do something like this but they turned out to be IPO scammers. But a site sort of like ebay where people can buy and sell games/other digital goods with reputation etc where BDC is used I believe would become a huge success.

Hello,

I have 3 x R9 280X (Asus R9280X-DC2T-3GD5) on my rig. I'm mining with a total of 1.596Mh/s with new settings. 535~536Kh/s per card on Bitember. My PSU is Corsair AX1200i and Corsair Link states a max of 651~657W power in. With my old settings power in was max ~700W and I had ~550Kh/s. Does it worth losing 15~20Kh/s for ~50W less power consumption? Comment please?

Also can it be because of the pool I'm mining in, namely Bitember, that I can not go up to 557Kh/s?

Thank you,

PS: my fans does not run like a mad dog is chasing after them with new settings.  Cheesy
