Might have to try this. Really impressive work Dev.

A breath of fresh air in what has become a cesspool of greed and shoddy(being nice) work lately.

Bravo!

help, my wallet doesn't sync, nodes?

Try adding these nodes to the config file

addnode=128.199.201.252
addnode=188.226.224.212
addnode=107.170.141.104
addnode=95.31.26.17
addnode=194.58.241.90
addnode=194.135.56.3
addnode=93.123.214.180

Or type in the console: "addnode 128.199.201.252 add" (you can use other nodes IP's)

We'll add all pools as nodes soon, I will also add nodes to the OP.

Hi all,

Here are some settings that our miners used for another scrypt-jane coin over at http://blackdragon.leetpools.net

yacminer -o stratum+tcp://blackdragon.leetpools.net:3339 -u laterbreh.1 -p x --scrypt-chacha --nfmin 9 --nfmax 9

270/270x:
--thread-concurrency 16384 -I 18 -g 1 -w 256 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale

280x/7970:
--lookup-gap 2 -I 13 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 11200 -w 256 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale

Hope this helps!

See you in the pool! Cheesy

Im running without         --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0,, is it better with?,,   I used that only on coin  launch.  SOLO MINING   low diff..

Bravo!

Thanks, hammerbrain. We will continue to work hard to make BDC one of top altcoins!

Now it's time for an update. Past days were very busy...

We found many good pool partners during the first days, hashrate is now well distributed. I have personal contacts of pool operators and we work together to spread the hashrate and keep BDC secure (already closed registrations on 2 biggest pools). Hashrate is high and stable, 2 last days it's 650-750 mH (quite impressive for the new coin, the best thing is that hashrate is stable).

Right now we're working on the block explorer, in 2 days it will be ready (coin is not a simple clone, standard explorer needs to be modified), it's top prority.

I tried to contact busoni/Tristran via forum PM, email (sent them twice with 1 day interval), trollbox messages, no luck so far. Looks like he's too busy and we'll need to open tickets requesting to add BDC on poloniex.com if he won't answer for a day or two.

I'll start a smart giveaway really soon.

Our todo list for next 7 days:
- Reach an agreement with Poloniex.com / start ticket request campaign if I poloniex owner wont answer to my PMs/emails
- Completely translate 1st post to chinese and spanish, get 1 chinese pool.
- Start reddit promotion campaign and make a nice design for BDC subreddit
- Custom wallet design + alternative logo featuring asian dragon (designer will start in the beginning of next week)
- New beautiful art\desktop wallpaper soon Smiley

Use this:

https://github.com/Zuikkis/sgminer

with

 ./sgminer --kernel zuikkis --nfactor 9 -o stratum+tcp://XXXXX.suprnova.cc:7557 -u suprnova.1 -p x -I 20  --lookup-gap 2  --auto-fan

mmmh I'm getting only invalid shares with these settings, really strange...

I'm not sure that is right, I use sgminer and zuikkis kernal for standard scrypt wheras this is with N factor. I dont see nfmin of nfmax in your command line either which makes me think this is almost certainly the problem. Someone posted a link to yacminer earlier in the thread which is working fine for me.

A coin targeting the RPG gaming community with dice rolls for bonuses?

With the right ad copy, it would be easy to make this go viral.

Does the wallet work on 32 bit systems? I get blackdragoncoin-qt.exe is not a valid Win32 application when I try to run it on XP.
