I've been involved in countless new coin launches, and if you don't have a windows-qt executable wallet password protected at least an hour before launch, and posted in the OP, then you WILL have a failed launch. Also, if ANY of your pools mine before the official start time, or do not have their pools up and running at the EXACT start time, YOU WILL HAVE A FAILED LAUNCH. DEVS, please post the wallets and make sure the pools are trusted and on board with your wallets and start times. I do promo and make markets for coins, if your launch is successful and there is any bounty for promoting or getting an exchange to list you, pm me.
I agree that the original post should contain wallets or at least place holders for wallets. But why do they need to be password protected?

UPDATE: FAIR START !! FIRST 100 blocks (50min) reward is 8000cc
I like that, because it gives me time to get my miner working before the serious hashing starts. I was thinking of testing it on another X11 coin, but this is even better.

You can test it on another coin mate: I've put up 2 X11 pools today. https://vc.hardcoreminers.com (low network hash so easy to test to find blocks ) https://erc.hardcoreminers.com (very high network hash) https://cc.hardcoreminers.com (not launched yet duhh) You can check the getting started page on both pools for the links to the miner & settings you can use. You need to add coin info on front page.

You do know that you can hash without a wallet, right? Also you can compile from source. If you download the source and look at the text files, you can find instructions on how to compile for Windows and make an .exe file. If you click on the source code link in the OP it will take you to the github webpage. If you look to the right there should be a zipped source code file you can download. If you compile yourself, you can do it after you start mining; there is plenty of time. The source code is going to be updated before hashing starts, so don't use the one on there now. If you post a link to your .exe file before anyone else, you can claim an 80cc bounty.

Hey Cartoon Coin Dev, those are some MIGHTY BIG LIES you're telling on your website. http://www.color-coin.com/ "YES, COLORCOIN PROVIDES INHERENTLY DECENTRALIZED FEATURES THAT MAKE IT A SAFE HAVEN FOR INVESTMENT CAPITAL.UNLIKE ORDINARY CRYPTO-CURRENCIES, COLORCOIN HAS, FOR EXAMPLE, BEEN HAILED AS THE SAVINGS BOND OF THE CRYPTO-CURRENCY WORLD." Those statements are ENTIRELY false. Here's you, looking to hire a 'Dev' on March 22 2014: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526493.msg5843954#msg5843954"Hi all! I am looking for a coin developer! I want to create a coin for fun but i stucked. I will pay real money for the work in USD!!!" He paid in 'real money.' I'd say nobody's investment is safe here. Anyways, good luck! http://altcoinherald.com/recognize-cartoon-coin-dev-see-oneWell this is worrying lol....

I'm not sure about this coin, the website is Wordpress any one can do wp (but like this?... with left and right buttons (not removed) going no where, a Youtube video of nothing, missing wallets, Facebook/Twitter/Google+ links all going to #)
The coin logo does not reflect the brand
The Github is empty of code.
I don't like the devs rude replies. Dude if people are first-off being rude to you... don't be rude back, doing that not only shows that you have many holes in your barriers but also makes me think are you really 12?
(Plus you can't spell or do spell check??)
You should be building peoples faith In you
Not saying it is, just saying this looks like a possible pump: The credit card is just an image so why is it up? you could not develop and test this first on testnet then launch the coin?
I hope it goes well and I'm not trying to be a put down but this looks like air right now dude

taken from OP: UPDATE: ALGO CHANGE UPDATE: NEW SOURCE WILL BE POSTED WITH NEW BLOCKCHAIN TODAY 22:30 GMT+1 UPDATE: FAIR START !! FIRST 100 blocks (50min) reward is 8000cc So basically pool will start running at 22:35 UTC+1 and the launch at 23:00 How fair is that ? Clearly not even worth setting a conf file. OP should learn how to make a real launch so see you next coin.

I agree. I think that the rectangles inside the curvy thing should consist of different colors. The Github is empty of code.
That's how it should be. The developer doesn't want the code distributed before launch and most other coin developers do the same. About that statement on the colorcoin website saying that investing in colorcoins is safe. Anyone who has any experience in crypto coins knows that's false. That statement isn't going to help the image of colorcoin; it will just make people think that the colorcoin developers aren't honest.

I think this might be a huge waste of time. The website looks flashy but I have doubts in the developer team the OP has ''purchased'' to make this coin. I have checked the OP posts and he sounds like a total new guy to ''mining'' crypto let alone managing a coin (No offence).
He is offline also and launch in 20 min time.
Not sure on this one, anyone else ?.
