Well good for you guys

I bought it at 5000 in may that´s nice to see the company has a good concern about his customers, i lost 2000usd in just 1/2 months and only earned 3 btc

WOW this is so good iºm going to party all night long

So ... yes i´m the clown in here .. i lost you may earn it... but anyway sometimes ppl ask themselves why aren´t the btc going up ?? because .. and just because... and maybe because the clowns are buying hardware and the company's are making the game

No need to be so upset. Miners always pay a premium to have a miner in hand faster than the others. You haven't lost 2000usd. The difference is 1800usd, but since you mined 3btc which are worth ~450$ that equals to 1350$ so the difference is only 450$. So no need to get all so angry. The main question is: are you pleased with the miner that you bought? Was it as advertised?

ahahahahah you really are a good marketing guy

Hey man i wish you were on my skin, can you make a donation groupbuy for me and other´s ?? Also can you add hosting costs on that ?? I payed 250usd to spoon for one month... did you forget about electricity Huh Is it free to host or handle a miner Huh

Same here.

I had a 5000$ sp10 and a 9000$ sp30 bundle order, the very first month.
I am especially upset with the sp30 order, as shipping only 2 weeks later would have only cost me 4500$ or half the amount.
(Also, i was one of the very first to believe in spondoolies and as a result i get a massive financial disadvantage)

After complaining to spondoolies about this, they offered me coupons for 3000$ sp10s.

Well, they ship today, however it isn´t such an advantage as everyone can now buy their sp10 at 3000$ shipping tomorrow.

This places me at a financial disadvantage to people buying later on, which is really counterintuitive.

Anyway, you can always wait a bit longer and sp10 prices should go down more, as half the production time in May isn´t sold yet.

Either spondoolies choose to not sell the residual production time of this month or they lower their prices further to increase their bottom line.

In my mind spondoolies are hurting themselves by this, as many people think "why buy now, when i can get it at a massively reduced price next month?"
The really bad part is, that the reduced price is more than what you would have earned by mining with your expensive machine in the time you get it earlier. No manufacturer has done this to date.

The Bitmain model is much better, i believe. When they decrease prices, everyone with a previous order in the similar timeframe receives a coupon for the price difference.
Even blackarrow has a better pricing policy:
"All pre-orders are guaranteed to be protected against any price decrease. If at any time, during the pre-order period, we drop the price under what you have already paid, you will be compensated by receiving more X-3 mining machines. "

This sounds true. Older customers, should be honored and not pay more than the newcomers.

Yes, thats what i repeatedly told them.

I dont know why they would effectively punish their most loyal customers but hey, it´s their business.

As this doesn´t seem to happen, i think i might buy my additional power from Bitmain, as i still have 9 400$ vouchers from s1 units i ordered.
That gives me 1TH for under 2000$ including shipping, which is better than what spondoolies can currently offer.

Also, hosting costs for these are under 99$ per month.

Give them their time to think.

I am sure you will get compensated somehow.

I really hope so.
However, they first gave me sp10s for 3000$, which only ship today.

Well, it isn´t much of a compensation as everyone can now get their sp10s for 3000$, shipping tomorrow.

I had to pay the shipping / free month first hosting cost at 190$ on top.
Groupbuy prices include shipping.

Therefore it is effectively 3000$ per unit.

Yeah the blackarrow deal worked well for their customers, they still haven't received anything.  Roll Eyes

BITMAIN is very unique in the industry, and its paying dividends for them. Yes they may have mined tested their S1 equipment for a while before shipping but at least they shipped from stock.

Really, its not unusual for early adopters to pay more for mining hardware, after all they get to start mining much earlier and ergo earn more bitcoin. You pay to get into the queue earlier.

What, I would imagine, would butt hurt is, if a group buy comes along and gets in on your delivery batch that you payed more for.

What also hurts is if your supplier sends your hardware by USPS and it takes 15 days, well now most likely with the weekend coming 18 days to get delivered.  Angry

Blackarrow pricing model seems good, dont you think? I cant help if their engeneering sucks, that is two different aspects of a company, not directly influenced by each other.

In their latest tests BA managed 0.75w/gh at the wall at advertised speed of 100gh/chip so I wouldn't say their engineering team is so bad.

Yes it sucks to pay more for the same miner. But this to be expected in this business. You are guaranteed nothing when it comes to price... or anything else, for that matter.

Hey, how much is decalred value? thanks

in my case $3200
and I'm not happy about it.
20% of this is customs cost.

before i did sent a letter sales@    SP-10 already shipped yesterday.
with the cost of customs 1.5BTC, It can easily become the most expensive miner, I've bought last 2 month.

Hovever, the  bitmaintech Antminer S2 (patch2 , patch 4) quality is very poor -immediately worked  one of the four miner, others needed a repair - You can buy it today 4.5BTC +customs costs .

Perhaps goes SP-10 cheaper,  then I buy more.

Does anyone in the US know the max these will run on 110V?  I think it was 1.35 Th/s.

I noticed in the tech blog a May batch cannot go back to a FW prior to 1.3 so using an old FW (voiding warranty) before the rate limiting was inserted isn't an option.

As i already said, the only thing i received was the option for 3000$ sp10s, which shipped today.

However, this isn´t really a bonus as now everyone can get 3000$ sp10s, shipping tomorrow.
