Pretty good, I think, for solo mining. I've been on terrahashers for about 45 minutes with 2 mh/s and have gotten about 450 CDA. Yeah, I really wanna see CanadaCoin succeed too. Mostly because I'm a proud Canadian. Chris

Scrypt? no longer mine it since too many ASICs there, use something better for Canada. Come on, I am Canadian, but this coin is too much inferior and not worth to own it.

I'm not aware of ASICs for scrypt in operation. Am I wrong? We saw that ASIC's were on the way for Q3-Q4 this year, and that is why we made the coin POS only after 90 days. Yes, there are some POW/POS coins with N-scrypt and more elaborate varieties, but we wanted to go with something that was proven for the POW stage.

the past is not indicative of the future... what's up with these SmurfsCoin haters? I thought the SmurfsCoiners would be kind and helpful like their little blue friends.

Lol, no ASICs for scrypt in operation? there are plenty now, heard Gridseed? They sell only ready-to-ship ones, no pre-order! Do a search on ebay? http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p3984.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xscrypt+asic&_nkw=scrypt+asic&_sacat=0&_from=R40Use X11 or N-scrypt to avoid ASICs...

Well, I stand corrected. When we started dev. there were none in operation. We looked at X11 later in the game...but there seemed to be some security issues being worked out and it was just too risky. In any case, after 90 days..no more mining period- just staking.

I have running about 10 gridseeds which are considered Scrypt ASICs right now I just have my 2 X 290X's on Canada coin but yet there is Scrypy Asics and at that ones much more powerful then mine running.

So now that we seem to have the coin up and running, I would suggest it would be a good time to start contacting exchanges like Bittrex and poloniex. They are two exchanges that could add CDA but I know that selling them on another country coin may be difficult. Dev some ideas to get some buzz going - contact some Crypto blogers (ge some articles out there on CDA) - get as active as possible on twitter and social media - get listed on Bittrex or Poloniex Being a fellow Canadian, I was insulted by the first two attempts at a Canada like coin but I like this one and I would like to see it do well Go Canada Go Canada https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOR38552MJA

I have sent inquiries to poloniex, and my prefered exchange vault of satoshi. I'll follow up with these, and make enquiries with others. I'll put more focus on blogs, and social media going forward. but ideally I need someone who really "lives" in that space to take it on in a dedicated way. Any Canadian crypto-bloggers with some experience in marketing and pr, interested in filling this role for bounty? Also if anyone here has experience with open source coin faucets like myfaucet plus Facebook App development I'd like to speak with you.

Note: the MacOSX wallet provided by instacash is experiencing a bug on some versions of Mac OSX (10.8.5 at least) where the File, Settings and Help menu are not showing up properly. It is being working on it.
