hmmm... I was thinking about it, but now... I don't know.

Hi vuce,
Every negative rating on there is a result of a mostly-harmless prank I pulled on #bitcoin-otc.  I put up a shopped screenshot showing that I had a 20000 BTC long position, and said I was going to liquidate it soon.  I thought they'd think that the screenshot was fake, but it turns out that lying on the channel, even if trolling, is a serious matter.  It was a joke that went bad, and I apologize to the few people who lost money.

However, I assure you that the incident has no bearing at all on the reliability of loans to me, or any other dealings with me.  I have always been completely transparent... I have always made potentially unsavory aspects of my business, such as the ponzis I used to run, completely public, and I have done the same with loans.  I have handled large amounts of bitcoin in the past, and I will continue to do so and maintain my trustworthiness.  Many well-known members (won't mention them publicly unless they give me permission) trust me despite my negative ratings, because they know that in my actual business dealings, I have always been reliable.

Thanks for bringing it up.  I should have addressed this long ago, and you reminded me.

INAU - haven't forgotten you.  Assume this is 450 extra and I'll know what I have spare closer to the time (over the coin I suggested via pm).   Smiley

Alright, it's closed.

Let this message be recorded as a note that I, as an individual, have reached my limit for loans for the months of January and February, unless circumstances change, and I will no longer be accepting loans.  This includes ones from my other lenders.

I look forward to dealing with you in March. Smiley

I want to mention that ineededausername and I talked last night via irc regarding the cause of the ratings.  I expressed my issues with what he had originally done and he understood.  We discussed a variety of topics and after, I found my confidence/trust in him had been strengthened.  Obviously YMMV.

Well, circumstances have certainly changed... the price fell so much! Shocked

Due to a bearish February outlook, I am increasing my risk tolerance in Bitcoin to match the new, lower price.  Consequently, I need about 500 BTC more in loans.

Contact me for details.

I have agreed a consolidation of a few loans with INAU so we have completed three loans early with repayment and interest accrued.  New (single) loan until end Feb at 15%/month agreed.  By agreement we have set a ceiling on credit.
