Please do not pay per post ! Way too much spam because of that. Also other things like "bonus for the one with most posts" are really terrible IMO. Please do not promote spam.

I personally only use signature programs that just pay per month and have a reasonable(!) minimum posts per month (50 is really the max I would join.)

I have been in 3 different programs that were all run by EvilPanda and I like his program rules (never pay per post, just a fair min.) So perhaps he can help you with it. Also good for trustworthiness of your program (if you give him the bitcoins in advance) so people don't have to doubt you.

Monthly/weekly doesn't matter to me.

Fixed rate ones are great if you only make a handful of posts. Not so much if you do 50 posts a day though. I think that signature providers need to do their bit in cutting down or not paying people who abuse the system. There are also several other deals that offer a fixed rate already so he'll have to find a way to better them whilst making it worthwhile to himself as an advertiser. Paying for a fixed amount for a small number of posts only gets you limited exposure, but it's also the cheaper option. I guess it depends on the needs and budget of the advertiser.

Fixed is just terrible, I make a couple hundred posts per month, and I would earn much less with fixed rates.

I thoroughly second that. 50 posts per month is ideal for a lot of people that do work.

I would suggest you look at a pay per post option - it might not be a popular choice with mods (tendency to promote spam) but if you set tough guidelines and enforce them people will back off from simply mindlessly spamming. It also gives you reasonably good exposure - nearly everyone has heard of PD thanks to their campaign.

Your rates will have to be competitive, at least early on. Use a known escrow to ensure funds are there to pay people. Finally, make sure you follow your payment time - people tend to get fustrated if you can't follow your payout terms.
You are assuming that the OP has time to go through all of the person's posts every time he pays out, something which most probably isn't true. We can clear see with both PrimeDice and Ritz that their guidelines are not stopping spammers.

Forever strong.

@OP... Like I stated in PM, we should contact over gmail or something, much quicker, as for your account is still time restricted in posting.

We have enough people to work through posts I think, though it does create a lot of work that could be avoided with a limited group. I will look at some of the technical ways we can solve a lot of this work. If we go down that route of per post then we will probably be able to build some kind of instant cashout function like we do with our affiliate program. This would satisfy the people who want to see payments showing before they switch links etc, also people who are happy with weekly or monthly could just take as they wish, or setup some auto payment I guess.

I am leaning towards the instant payment setup as it would mean we would be able to monitor and catch the spammers straight away i guess. problem is you don't know who are the spammers until a few comments have passed. Some posts like "I agree etc". Then one serious one some posts later, is a hard line to police properly.

How are the signature links added, some kind of javascript that we can kill on our end? Or some image load from our servers?

Thanks for all the wonderful advice, it is truly appreciated.

Regards

Aris
