Bah, I always take "to the moon" with a bucketload of salt. (From a day-trading perspective) We've been promised the moon on many things, and what actually transpires is smart traders making a load of cash on the hype, dumping, then making a load of coin on the inevitable drop that they triggered in profit taking.

Even worse, it may be something completely underwhelming. We'll see though...

I don't know about you, but I'm excited for this upcoming bubble.

It won't be eBay.  They have way too much invested in Paypal to start accepting what is basically a direct competitor.  Amazon should be all over it though.

But I'm not holding my breath on any big news like this for awhile.

Merchant adoption is great but what we really need is customer adoption to grow significantly

If bitpay has empaneled a big name, thats great but only one part of the picture

I don't think it will be that big, they are using this as a marketing ploy as usual.

Perhaps Bitpay is intent on simply waiting for the inevitable logarithmic cycle to play itself out, and then claim credit for the boom?
