No where near finished but here is what I've got so far Smiley

shadow version:

basic version:

3d version:

I think these logos look very nice when scaled down which is pretty important for a logo. The reason for the two square chunks on the left side missing is to symbolize that its a currency, they aren't aligned properly but that will be fixed.

Will update soon!

Hello boys and girls

I bring good news. First of all I would like to say you that

There are changes in the Logo contest.

1. New prize pool - 500 FCN and 0.5 BTC
2. Prize pool is splitted between 3 winners - 1st place - 0.25 BTC and 250 FCN, 2nd place - 0.15 BTC and 150 FCN, 3rd place - 0.1 BTC and 100 FCN.
3. Works are being accepted until Friday (just to clarify - all previous works are accepted by default)

On weekend me and amphibian are going to select 3 most awesome looking works and present it to public.

Let the best contender win. Smiley

poll?

sadface recently made a valid point about the huge amount of sock puppets on BitcoinTalk.

I think a lot of people would like to receive the reward for the 1st (and even 2nd/3rd) place and they won't hesitate to use multiple newbie accounts to vote and since I can't restrict poll to something like "Vote only for Member+" I think that dev should make the final decision. Smiley

I always open for the ideas tho how to make it more public and open.

Agreed. More F on the top is necessity.

We meant that you should point out the upper part of the F since you can't really tell that this is F without watching for some time. Smiley

I was trying to avoid that 4th piece. I think the brain eventually will close the square and complete the F. Also, the logo doesn't have to be an F, its a symbol that represents the Fantomcoin. A lot of people took years to recognize the letter C in the french supermarket Carrefour logo.

Anyway here's the complete square version:

Hey,
This one seems very nice. I am voting with +1 for this one. Very clear design, nice one to represent a coin. The best on until now!
