I use my credit card to pay for everything if I can.  I earn a tonne of rewards with it and pay off the balance every month. Also, using a credit card for bigger purchases, they carry extra insurance for warranty purposes.

I also carry about $100 bucks in cash with me at all times. Credit/Debit machines don't always work and even the card sometimes doesn't work in all machines.

Today the Washington post wrote an article titled "Whats in your wallet? " http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2014/05/12/whats-in-your-wallet-probably-not-cash/.  No reference to Bitcoin but it clearly supports the notion that paying with or carrying cash is a thing of the past for most.  People simple want to pay by swipe of a card or touch of a mobile device.  Enter virtual currencies to replace that cash.

So how much cash is in your wallet?

How much bitcoin is in your "Hot" wallet for payments?

Honestly I don't carry cash just my card and ID. If I go to a store that has the proper device to read my phone i'll use the ISIS app to pay with a credit card. Cash is just so gross lol

Normally, I don't carry more than $20 in cash. But I always keep my ATM card and Credit Card with me. But to tell the truth, sometimes I have faced difficulties after entering areas with no working ATMs or shops which accept CCs.  Grin

As with most people here, I usually have anywhere from 0 to €5 with me, and just use a card when I need stuff. There are very few places that don't accept them directly around here these days, and even for those that don't there are always ATMs at no more than a minute walk. It sucks to leave a trail for everything that you buy, where you buy it, at what time of day you do, etc.. but it's just far too practical.  Undecided

I carry like $20 bucks at most, incase I need for some cash only place that wont accept cards.

This is mainly though mom and pop shops with eating out at some small place.

I prefer using my cc, but the cash makes me help the sense of how much everything really is in spending wise.

I try to carry at least $100 in cash with my in my wallet. Though, it isn't always the case. I don't really spend cash so much, I just like to have it on me.

No irreversible payment instruments by default.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.
