This is just a preliminary post to sort of gauge interest in an idea I am mulling over.

I contract with a company to provide at home customer service for various major US companies. I am incorporated in PA and have the ability to hire customer service agents to work from their home offices and earn wages that I am willing to convert and pay out in bitcoin. This would be a 1099 contractor type of thing without benefits but you would receive bi weekly payouts on the hours you work at a fairly decent rate.

There are things that you would need to understand from the start. Training with most clients can last from 28 days to a month and a half. You would be investing typically about 4 hours a day five days a week for the training period. At the end of the training there will normally be a certification exam and mock phone calls or chats. Once completed you have the ability to select hours and begin earning bitcoin.

The pay rate varies by client but ranges from around $8 fiat per hour up to $12-13. I will receive invoices and payments from these clients every two weeks and after conversion to bitcoin will send out payments on a regular bi-monthly schedule. I will with hold a small percentage for conversion fees and record keeping. Most contracts require 15-20 hours per week commitment so you can earn a steady stream of BTC in your spare time.

This is not something that you would get rich doing. This is just a way to earn some BTC on a part time basis. 20 hours a week at .02 per hour depending on which client you service will be a pessimistic estimate.

My requirements would be strict.
You would have to submit to background check. Any history of theft or fraud would be an automatic disqualification.
You would have to have a quiet home office with high speed internet and a dedicated land line telephone.
You must do an interview with me by telephone and submit a work history.
You must show up on time every time for your shifts and meet performance guidelines including customer feed back and minimum hours worked each week.
You must treat this the same way you would treat any other job and demonstrate professionalism at all times.

I have a ten year relationship with these companies and am not willing to risk my reputation and relationship.

We do work with some major US companies including Apple, AAA, Sprint, ATT, Orkin, Disney, and Rogers Communications from Canada to name a few.

The above requirements are not negotiable but this is legitimate work and I will pay bi-weekly in bitcoin.

I am in the early stages of this and going on vacation later this week so I would not be starting any potential interviews etc. until after June 1st but would appreciate any thoughts or feedback from the community on this.

You can send a work history and contact information to my e-mail address. PM me for the address. Like i said there isn't going to be much movement on this until June because of my vacation, but I would be happy to open a discussion with you. Feel free to with hold personal details early on if that makes you more comfortable. I would not need your actual information until we get to the interview stage.

The company I contract with requires US based service. I am simply trying to use my position and relationship to help people earn some extra cash in the form of bitcoin. If that kind of work and pay rate is too far below your obviously high standards so be it. Some people might like part time work with no commute for bitcoin.

What would you rather do? Clearing drain pipes or sweeping leaves?

$8 is around state minimum wage (some are over $8). This is a not a generous rate, but is a good opportunity for people (especially those with physical disabilities) to make some cash at home in their spare time.

Why Indians are barred from this ? Is not it an online job ? Does it have anything to do with nationality or proof of nationality ?

Do people have to PAY anything to be trained or take part in this program?

This reminds me of a scam that started about a decade ago.  A company would hire people to assemble crafts using their materials.  Registration fee up front, and you had to buy all the materials from the company.  Later on when they tried to sell their crafts to the company as promised, the company would reject them, saying they weren't good enough quality.   Undecided

Yeah I done this when i was like 19 years old and thoought I was going to be rich, I use to buy there kit and took me two hours just to do one pair of earrings.  anyway yeah you send it to them and they say its not meet there quality standards.  Now dont get me wrong there are a few companies that do this already and are legit but you must live in the USA

It is actually more of a legal contracting issue than anything else. They recently expanded to the UK for example but it took a while.

I also think frankly that a lot of westerners are stuck in that "took our jobs" mentality and actually get upset if someone with a different accent or even local dialect answers the phone. It is sad in the modern world but that is where we are still.

There is a fee for the background check and training. As the corporation owner I am willing to front the cost of this myself and recoup it in small installments once the agents get going. The cost pays the instructor who is also an independent contractor and the background check is less than what it would cost to do it yourself due to volume.

In paying these costs I am assuming some risk. That is why I must be so strict with the hiring.

This is actual work, not stuffing envelopes or assembling crafts.

I don't need people to contract with my corporation, there is a chance I lose money on this but I am firm believer in bitcoin and want to be a contributor to continued adoption and acceptance. Perhaps if i create 9-10 jobs we might even get some media attention which would be great for our community as well.

20 is a rough average. Some require 15 and some even 12 a week.

I have worked as many as three clients at once and was pounding out 65 hours a week at the time. The pay was nice for sure but I am much happier with around 40 a week now. Working in my home office definitley makes it easier.

I can't believe people can complain about $8+ an hour working from home part-time on what is likely extremely easy tasking (like reading from a prompt). Consider what you'd normally pay working at another place for $10 an hour (having to get up and go to work, take care of lunch while at work, pay for the trip to work, etc.) and you'll find that this is a better opportunity than a lot of them.

Shame it's US only. I've got a few years' experience in Customer Service and would love a job I can work from home at my computer, and especially if it pays in Bitcoins.

People just dont know how rough it is to even get a job lol.

I rather put up with this then work at some mcdonalds that has more stress involved. Possible heavy lifting for stock, and other crazy hours.

Hello,
I am definitely interested in such project. I have 6 months of customer service experience in HP and i have perfect English and Spanish skills. Th bad news are that i am not from US. I am from Bulgaria, but can work even on night shifts. This rate per hour for me is very well paid, because of the low salaries in Bulgaria. If you are still interested of my application i can send you background history and will be happy to speak with you on skype.

Best Regards,

I don't have any employees at this point. I contract as a PA LLC with a company that provides work at home agents to perform services for various companies. They require their agents to either own a corporation in their home state or be attached to a corporation in order to work for their clients.

If you own a virtual services corporation you have the ability to hire agents to work under your contract.

I have never actually hired anyone because it is kind of a headache and a bit of a risk frankly. If someone performs poorly or doesn't show up for their chosen shifts it can affect my corporations contract and my ability to provide services. I also would have to manage the accounting side as all invoices are paid to my company and it is my responsibility to manage payments to my agents and send out 1099 forms each year.

It is a nice way to earn some bitcoin for honest work. If it doesn't appeal to you that's okay. There might be a couple of people that it does appeal to. I would be just as content to keep working for myself.

I do have some invoices that show my company receiving income from services performed. I would be willing to share them with a trusted community member for vetting purposes.

Thanks Gondel. At the moment I don't think I can do anything for you. Perhaps in the future it might be different. Just recently the UK was added to the agent pool so things are progressing.

Again that is a rough estimate. Different companies pay different amounts. Also you have to consider that you aren't commuting anywhere, no need for work clothes or uniforms and thatyour workplace is right down the hallway. I worked in my bathrobe last night.

In the end it whatever these companies pay is too low so be it. That is the way the market works.

Awesome! Is the old cashiers check one where I deposit it and do a wire transfer or the one where I send a good faith deposit? I can definitley send either as soon as my winnings from the Zimbabwe lottery hit my account.
