I'm not saying it was a scam, I'm saying he didn't worry about sync being added. yobit may be a shit, but it has a good daily volume.
I think he does, it's just out of his control....they do what they want....take people's money for nothing apparently.

I thought this project was dead long ago. I lost a fair amount of money on SYNC years ago when it was considered one of the best altcoins. After Poloniex delisted SYNC, the price tanked and holders were unable to liquidate due to lack of being listed on exchanges. Although it's still not listed on coinmarketcap.com, I see there are some very miniscule buy orders for SYNC on Trade Satoshi. Just downloaded the SYNC wallet, will wait for it to "sync" up, import my old wallet, and go from there. Much to my surprise, I already have ten active connections to the SYNC network. I figure a couple of the active nodes/connections are from any exchanges SYNC is listed on, but what about the other 7-8 nodes? Are there people really still staking this?
Soon the chain will stop.
I can buy your coins for 0.02BTC each in case you want to get rid of them before the chain stops
I will have some for sale when the blockchain is finished syncing and I import my old wallet. Are you still interested in buying? Feel free to PM if so!

Still staking since the beginning Seems like enough people stake, but barely enough. Speaking of my version I'm surprised to see so many people still running the old client.

Pareto looks dead.. The evolution of sync is related to the success of pareto?

Rsj91, first of all SYNC is already listed on Nova. Second, charging 1BTC for listing on an exchange with basically 0 volume is a rip-off imho.

This message is sent to all the coins listed on Nova to let the community know about reopening & new registration. About the listing fees and volume; hopefully we all will get the result in coming future. Nova is not a new exchange though

Only a year and a bit away, don't stress wallet still has nodes and we still have 2 exchange listings.

$2673 each? . and only 3.18 m marketcap , but it'd be nice if we had volume. XD Does anyone have any hope that something like this is going to happen? https://i.imgur.com/lEwCIhD.jpg

Wouldn't hold your breath with @smokin35.... @1blockologist brings a lot more to the table from what I can see

Wouldn't hold your breath with @smokin35.... @1blockologist brings a lot more to the table from what I can see As far as I remember, smokin35 dumped SYNC project making an excuse that someone stole all his SYNC (hard to believe, right?). So I think we all agree that we don't need that kind of actor in the development team

My crypto companies planned for the worst case scenario and 2018 was the worst case scenario, this has impacted our tertiary activist ventures such as SYNC
I won't be actively on this project for some time, as the main project has to get to a further place development wise and deeper adoption. I bought a bit of SYNC from the community here with my own money, so there shouldn't be any questions about my resolve on this as there should have only been benefits of liquidity that would have never arised if not from my participation here.
Regarding Yobit, they totally did not reply after we did everything they asked and they still have the bitcoin from the community. I thought I posted the transaction here so I was unaware that there were any questions about that
You win some, you lose some
What the community can do is keep the nodes on, and keep the clients updated. One question I had in my mind is: Would the community be interested in a swap to a token? I liked the "~1,000 units" aspect of SYNC but right now we can't show the market how that works

1blockologist, So you're saying that Yobit activated the Yobit code that you created for listing SYNC? If so, that is strange because they do that only when they are ready to list a coin...
I personally don't see any benefit of swapping to a token rn, especially if it's ERC20 token. Novaexchange doesn't support Ethereum based tokens so we will lose that exchange if we swap.

A swap is necessary ... tokens? or to another chain?
