I'm wondering myself why there is no response.
But I think you should proceed with this project nether then less.
i2p could really need a system like namecoin to be more accessible.

Currently there are enough nmc so the once that get lost are not problematic.
And in the future the protocol can be changed to either remove the loosing part or get them back into the system.

I think you have to understand that Namecoin as a project has been dormant since last October at least, it needs developers like you to keep the project going.  I believe your contribution has been fantastic, don't worry if the masses are a bit slow to catch on.  What you really need is publicity for what you have done on the bitcoin-centric blogs like Betabeat and various others.

Yep, I noticed that. I prepare new design concept for a public trial. If someone have their thoughts about the future of namecoin, we may discuss in PM.
