I was just about to say 12.1 isn't even official and theres alreadya  12.2 preview? But go figure, 12.1 official came out yesterday.

my mh is all over the place with these drivers. The average is comparable with older drivers, before the 12 series, but the volatility is nuts. At least for me with a 5870 and 5830

A beta is not much use if they don't accept bug reports. Here is the closest thing to a bug report form I've found; why don't you use it (specifically multi-GPU platforms):
