WTF is going on here. The wall at 5.4 is down, and is back to 15,000.

Can someone explain how the wall went from 10,000 to 38,000 now to 15,000?

Shit I should have made a note of the volume.

Volume right now 116,000

Bid 5.05 1287.93
Bid 5.1 5674.32
Bid 5.15 237.5
Bid 5.2 13825.18
Bid 5.25 1698.69
Bid 5.3 2457.29
Bid 5.35 777.06
Bid 5.4 15452.19 Bid 5.45 167.59
Bid 5.5 344.72
Bid 5.55 34.73

Someone really doesn't want the price to go below a certain level.

Quite interesting in that sense, there's scheming to keep the averages high, generate the right signals, trigger the rally and dump at a point we don't know yet.......that my friend is the billion dollar question.

I don't think he will let us down - not today.

His wall marks the three month log support line. If it holds the price might rise significantly again. And then he can start the game again at a higher level.

exactly

On a natural (not Log-) scaled chart the 3 month support is around 4.80 USD to date and looks more stable to me. The Log scaled one has also been broken anyways.

Guilty....tho the position is tiny. All the same, if someone is willing to smack down 10K BTC at 5.4, I'm happy to ride their coat-tails. I'll also be extremely happy to jump at the first sign of trouble. I'm generally happy Tongue

Is it time to start taking bets on when the first Church of the Manipulator will be founded?

I have no idea about your theories, but remember Bitcoinica? They re-filled to full usage of their reserves in a small price range in the rally after the initial bursting of the echo bubble. There should be a lot of people who do not want that wall going down right now.

Makes me wonder why no big trader hasn't lost their nerves and dumped yet. I probably would have, and I'm not exactly the person to get shaken by price charts easily. Maybe there's more info to Bitcoinica volume than I have, or something about large players...

... or they just didn't notice, and it might blow up at random. Note that I would not be confident of a bounce if that happens.

Then again, it would be so idiotic, I must have overlooked something... right? Right?? lol Tongue

the only good thing is, that these large orders are being filled to BTC, that must mean, they have to manipulate it back up before they rinse and repeat.. Smiley
