Yes I see you used https://moneropool.com/ in your logs. Did you try : -o stratum+tcp://xmr.crypto-pool.fr:3333 (instead of -o stratum+tcp://mine.moneropool.com:3333) ? Try generating an other XMR address. Also it is strange that you don't seems to find any share you need to submit at least one share to be registered on any pool.

I've tried this a while back and have had trouble working the miner... so I just stuck to just purchasing XMR for the mean time, but now I want to get into running a full node and mining. I was wondering if this would be profitable with a 10 year old Windows XP AMD Athlon 64 CPU? If so, do I need to install Linux and learn command lines to learn how to run this kind of stuff?

One Click Monero Miner
Hi superresistant, Great idea. I dig the One-Click Monero Miner, I dig Monero, I dig the whole CryptoNote code concept. I've been mining with the AMD version of your One-Click Monero Miner on a quad-core 64-bit box running Win 10. It seems to be working. (Image at bottom of post.) Can you answer these 4 questions for me please?: --Will it work with a online wallet? I'm using mymonero.com. (I wasn't able to get the Light Wallet working, even with simplewallet in the same directory, and the full wallet gets stuck downloading the Monero blockchain at about 90% for days now, so I closed it.) --How long will it take to pay out some XMR? I've been running the One-Click Monero Miner for 7.5 hours. Was expecting to at least get some dust by now. --Do you have the source code for the One-Click Monero Miner anywhere? I'd love to adapt it to some other CryptoNote coins. I saw about 40 pages back where someone asked for source code, but it seems like the answer was to the Monero source, not to the One-Click Monero Miner source. --Avast flags the One-Click Monero Miner as a virus. Based on your trust level on here, I'm sure it's not. And I'm running it on a spare machine with no financial info or passwords (other than MyMonero). Is this just an issue of Avast? Thank you for your service! MWD

Are you saying you recommend that instead of One Click Monero Miner? Why? And can you answer my first 3 questions above for it? Thank you, MWD

Yes it will work. --How long will it take to pay out some XMR? I've been running the One-Click Monero Miner for 7.5 hours. Was expecting to at least get some dust by now.
I cannot tell. It depends if you reach the minimum payout and it depends on how often the pool do the payouts per day. You can mine with multiple computers on the same address to accelerate the payout. --Do you have the source code for the One-Click Monero Miner anywhere? I'd love to adapt it to some other CryptoNote coins. I saw about 40 pages back where someone asked for source code, but it seems like the answer was to the Monero source, not to the One-Click Monero Miner source.
I will send you via PM when I find it. It's on one of my laptop somewhere. It will be easy for you to update and improve it. --Avast flags the One-Click Monero Miner as a virus. Avast will flag any CPU miner as a virus because there are a lot of virus that use the CPU to mine. It's normal, no worries. If I was a hacker, I would not bother building a reputation.

--Will it work with a online wallet?....
Yes it will work.... Thank you so much for the quick answers! A few follow-up questions: --Do you run crypto-pool.fr? --I'm using the default pool in the program. (crypto-pool.fr). I entered my MyMonero.com Monero address in your program before running your program. Will your program automatically put a payout in my MyMonero.com wallet when there's a payout, or do I have to do some action for it to pay out? --Is the first payout to one computer connected to the crypto-pool.fr pool, with all defaults left in program (truly one-click), likely to be in the order of hours, days or weeks? Looking forward to seeing what we can do with the source code on our end. Thank you for your service! MWD

--Do you run crypto-pool.fr?
Yes with perl, he's the tech guy but he doesn't talk too much. --I'm using the default pool in the program. (crypto-pool.fr). I entered my MyMonero.com Monero address in your program before running your program. Will your program automatically put a payout in my MyMonero.com wallet when there's a payout, or do I have to do some action for it to pay out?
Nothing else to do, a Monero address is enough. If you think that your payout is taking too long, PM me your address, I'll have a look. --Is the first payout to one computer connected to the crypto-pool.fr pool, with all defaults left in program (truly one-click), likely to be in the order of hours, days or weeks?
Well it really depends on your mining power. At the time I did the one click miner, the difficulty was much lower but nowadays mining is professional. Some miners got thousands of CPUs or hundreds of GPUs. Looking forward to seeing what we can do with the source code on our end. Thank you for your service!
I'm still looking for it. You're welcome.

Superresistant, I am in the process of building a GPU rig. The rig I am building consist of the following:
970 Pro Gaming/Aura ATX with 32GB AMD FX 8320E 4GHz Processor 6 Radeon RX 480 8GB 250GB SSD 2 750W PSU
What operating system do you suggest I use and will the One Click Monero Miner work for this setup? Thanks!

Hello, The development stopped long ago, you should use an updated miner for Monero. 6 RX480 is great, this is what I use on my rigs. For the rest, you don't need a strong setup unless you plan on using it to play games.

@superresistant Hey Man, I hope we can get this thing working. I've been trying to break into the mining world for a week now with no luck. The only miner I can get to run reliably is the scam mining app for Windows 10 where if I'm lucky I make 1000 satoshis/day running an avg of 65 KH/s. I had your seemingly boss program running and with an excellent KH/S. The thing is, it kept turning off after busting 2-3 blocks (yays). I wish I would have taken screencaps but this fruitless week has left me somewhat mining fatigued. I've also uninstalled. I am writing this after a nap. I ran the program maybe 5 times. It seemed to end randomly. A few lines down from the last mining info, the program information came up. I am running the Nividia program. I guess you're going to need more info. I'll try and get some screenshots. Also, two program screens are coming up when I run the program. Thank you for your help and your efforts.
