Something is not right with the pool today. It says that I've mined 17.63... XMR till now. My wallet contains only 16.65.... XMR Yesterday everything was fine. http://monero.crypto-pool.fr/#46nE6wq6KtfNmL2ddASWXNhvdVmuUFcqzHZwMfW1eBQdRydwjgCedMF529SKQAhuTmHniF4urp7txQY afLS3dRvTUqe2ZGd Today the Monero network is really slow to confirm blocks. There was also and update of the main wallet. There is 2 blocks that has been delayed to be pay. Don't worry nothing is lost. I'll pay them manually later. OK. Thanks

is there any mining cloud for mine this coin? im afraid my PC will burn when mine this coin Yes but it is very different from mining on Windows or buying hash on a website. You must use a VPS with Linux and connect through SSH. No GUI, all actions in command line mode. well, i have found this ' https://cpu-cloud.net/' is this legit? I never heard about it. Any VPS with Linux Ubuntu can be suitable. Look for VPS list / VPS comparison. The most used are Amazon, Windows Azure, Digital Ocean, Linode, ... You must have some knowledge or find some tutorial if you want to mine but that's the most effective way. Aren't VPS all about bandwidth and storage not performance?? Maybe I'd give it a shot, but cheapest hosting of 4 x opteron 6272 is $700 / month. It's much cheaper to buy at this rate. Do you have any recommends on high performance hosting? You are right. VPS never advertise or give informations about the CPU performance because VPS are not supposed to be used to mine CPU coins. It doesn't matter the price of the hosting. It only matter what you pay and what you get at the end. You can pay $700 for 4 x opteron 6272 but you could also pay $700 for 80 cheap VPS. You can multiply instances of VPS infinitely is you use a metric billing (you pay for what you use and not for a particular server). The best VPS to use is a secret kept by VPS miners. I can give you some hint by PM if you ask.

Is there something wrong here in this log ? No transactions from the pools are coming through since the last 24h I see some Tx verification failed errors also.... A fucking retarded hacker was DDOSing the pool for hours. It stopped now. We're going to implement the first DDOS protection for Monero pool. We are actively fixing the code for this to stop.

Ok, Nice to hear that and thanks for the quick reply. You mentioned earlier about doing some manual payouts. I am also missing about 30XMR from yesterday - was the payout system compromised too and all the payouts have to be done manually now ?

My hashing speed is between 18-20Khash.

That's quite surprising but if it works better for you, keep using the http. You have to know that the http can miss more shares than stratum resulting in lower payout.

If everything is ok with pool, Stratum must work better, but not much, may be 3% better for GPU miner since for http miner checks new job every 5 seconds and GPU round time is about 3 seconds (original simpleminer checks new job only every 20 seconds). For CPU miner Stratum must work better by about 5% than http since round time is very small.

You are both right. After a checking accounts and addresses we found that 8 addresses have missing XMR. Please wait, we have to check again to be sure and we will process the payment manually ASAP. Nothing was lost. No need to panic.

I have been hashing at monero.crypto-pool.fr for a couple days @ 1.3Khash. For the last 24hours I have only received ~0.2XMR to my wallet. I think something is definately wrong, with that hashrate I should be ~4-6XMR/day

Hi, thanks for the guide and pool. I'm mining with 6 x 290, catalyst 13.12 stable no OC at 2.5MH. Only 13.12 works, otherwise immediate driver crash for me.
My problem is with the wallet not syncing. I get from Daemon "Failed to connect to any of seed peers, continuing without seeds". I let it run overnight, gui wallet shows "initializing" with 5-9 seeds. started monerod before wallet. No sync. The wallet was given an exception in the firewall.
What gives?
Thanks
