Dev can you fix the rpc command gettransaction command, its supposed to show tx details for a tx id, it aint working like it does on other coins, so its hard to get a chain explorer running.

There is no difference between 1 big burn tx and many smaller burn tx. I am currently working on the a blockchain parser. I have made a few changes to the wallet like fixing the PoS difficulty, and rewards. I will also (haven't yet) fix the PoB target and reward scheme. I have also done a few other things, but all of these changes have not been tested.

I am not too sure about the reward, but I am thinking about the reward not being determined by the burn difficulty, but by (these are just ideas): either the PoW difficulty or the rate at which coins are burned.

As for the PoB difficulty, currently, it is calculated by the amount of coins burned. I will make it so that it adjusts to a target that would average a PoB block once every 3 or 2 PoW blocks.

Currently there seems to be no issue with the difficulty. PoB blocks are being found every 2-4 PoW blocks right now, averaging (as I wrote in a previous post) about 1 in every 4 PoW blocks. A problem will come up if many people who burnt coins, stop mining with them for any reason (as I assume there are a few already). Then with the current scheme, the difficulty will remain high but less PoB power will be applied to this, causing the PoB to PoW block ratio to become smaller. Such proposed change will guarantee a steady flow of PoB blocks.

Guilty as charged, I'm afraid. Just by being open, my Linux wallet eventually entirely consumes one of the four threads available on my laptop. I imagine it'll get sorted eventually and I may well rejoin the fold at that point.

Interesting coin, though - and I'll echo an earlier poster's appreciation of the community pitching in to ensure the coin at least gained flying speed.

This coin had no IPO, no sane person mines IPO coins anyway. You either burned (via wallet GUI) or you did not. Burning is done manually. You need to mine the coin first to burn or buy the coin at bter exchange (https://bter.com/trade/SLM_BTC) and then burn.

270SLM now is more than 30 PoW blocks. Yes, 30. or 15 PoB blocks. $38 ? Really ? Good luck mining 30 PoW blocks for $38, electricity alone will cost more..

a rough overview of the blocks generated. don't count on it for accuracy.

there just seem to be too many proof-of-stake blocks generating dust-like amounts of slm. which would be fine if it doesn't throw the proof-of-work difficulty completely out of whack - the POW difficulty jumps about not because of hash rate but because of POS crazy jumpy variations.

perhaps increase the POS difficulty and raise the block reward correspondingly by say, 10x? will allow POW and POB to be less affected by the vagaries of POS and more linked to the hashpower thrown at the network, while not taking away the POS interest aspect.

I support the POB update; burnt coins without a client running currently just hampers the rest of the network from generating POBs.

No, not going to happen! Anything that alters the coin supply will not be accepted by the majority. Who are you anyway, i've never seen you post here ?
EDIT : PoW difficulty is not jumping due to PoS...

EDIT2 : Ahh you are proposing a 10x increase in PoS blocks .. Maybe .. Too much in my opinion.
