god damn, I woke up on the moon!!!! Roll Eyes

Wish I would have picked up more.....and earlier then today.  I was thinking about it, but just couldn't pull the trigger.  Damn.....

I got in early,  been holding ever since, I am very interested to see what happens in a couple hours when the superblock hits!  its hard to believe that miners will hold during these prices....lets hope for half of them to hold though!!!

Why does everyone assume the miners don't look at the charts?  I mine and ipo attracted me to this page (thank god) and I decided to throw all my BTC at it, while some mine and dump I think any big miner doing it for income also looks at charts to see if he can potentially make more and with the charts leading up to superblocks, if they even glance at it, they'd realize it'd be stupid to dump.  Just my thoughts  Smiley

Mining Same place, and doing the same. Took all my BTC and put it in to this. I am holding on for the ride!

@Mastiffcoin

There are some accusations that your code is a copy of Husky coin. Any merit to those accusations?

Let it be known that I am not spreading FUD, merely trying to get a response out of the dev.

EDIT: I'm a holder of MAST, even after the recent rise.

ok good to know  Wink

But don't forget 99% of the coins are copys, what matter is the community behind and dev bringing new features.

Thank you for your civility.

I understand that is the nature of the environment when code is open source, lets see what they have to say and go from there Smiley

It's obviously not just a clean copy of Huskycoin.
The two have different criteria. Aside from the usual different basic parameters, especially the distribution model is very different.

Huskycoin has this:
Code:
POW REWARDS
0     -1000   2500COIN
1000-3000   1250COIN
3000-7000   625COIN
7000-15000 312COIN

So diminishing returns for miners.
Mastiffcoin uses superblocks at the beginning and end, with a longer "normal" period in the middle.
That is a lot fairer and more incentivizing for miners, don't you think? Probably one of the reasons Husky hasn't taken off in a significant way.

Appreciate the quick response. Also curious:

What code did you fork to create Mastiffcoin?
Why did Mastiffcoin choose not to leave that fork on Github, and opt to instead do one large commit?

Again, thank you for being so social with interested parties!

Massive scare selling...  meh...  probably with the superblocks approaching...  They're gonna regret letting it go for so little...

Keep in mind that 1.6 million Mastiff have changed hands in the last 24 hours alone, far more than will be produced during the SuperBlock period. Traders are aware of the SuperBlocks and most will have already factored it into their purchases. There should be a slight increase in selling pressure, but it won't be substantial compared to the other market forces at work. Smiley

The MAST market is quite volatile at the moment as we are seeing a lot of buyers moving in very quickly, its normal to see a little see-saw action as the price settles.

It's nothing, whenever something is about to change in the market people do a sell (ie superblocks) because they don't know what the result will be from the implementation, at the end of superblock, that should be the last foreseeable change and we shouldn't see anymore dumping and seeing as how this coin is built around fork prevention (Dev please correct me if I'm wrong here) I don't see any scare sells in the future

I do see a lot of potential with MAST if we get a decent community behind us.  And looking at the volume on Bittrex, it does look like it's growing.  If it drops and you have the means to pick up some, do it.  Because once it hits the other exchanges that's when it should really take off.

We've hit 9th place in trading volume on coinmarketcap. I think that's some good publicity we can all be proud of.
